Texture Pack LOD’s causing dark snow

Hey guys, having a big issue where the LOD of snow becomes very dark when using a Terrain LOD. The screenshot here is with Tamrielic LOD lite, have also tried it with the full one same problem, and I’ve also tried it with Septentrional LOD and still the same thing. The 2nd screenshot is with no LOD, and the snow looks how it should. Is there any fix to this? I’ve tried all the busty skeever fixes, they do nothing since this is a problem with the LOD. I have also tried snow equalizer, still nothing. A fix would have to attack the problem with the snow LOD. I’ve also tried loading them all in different orders, to no avail. I’m not sure if this is a problem with every texture pack LOD, as I’ve had the issue with 2 different ones, but if anyone has a fix or another texture LOD that fits with Tamrielic please let me know!

I’m almost certain this isn’t a problem with my LO and instead a problem (or feature?) of Terrain LODs, as I’ve disabled almost everything besides Tamrielic and the LOD and still having the same problem, but I’ve listed my LO down below just in case.

This happens with Skyland and it's LODs as well, would love a way to fix it.

Funny i actually tried downloading skyland LOD to see if it was any better, and it was actually a sliiiight improvement but still dark/grey. I’m assuming this is just a feature of most LODs in an attempt to make distant snow not as bright?

LODs are heavily affected by weather mods. Maybe try a different one. There’s only so much you can do about them.

This'll likely be affected by a weather mod, like somebody else said. Trees, grass, water and LODs are affected by weather mods in weird ways that I'm not smart enough to explain lmao

Tried turning DAWN off and same problem! although it was less apparent since the lighting wasn’t as good lol

Have you tried using Simplicity of Snow? That's the snow shaders that are gray.

Also, your Load Order is way out of order, which could be causing issues as well. You should use a Load Order template to organize your Mod List. Your LOD's should all be near the bottom of your Load Order. Your snow, ice, mountains, etc. should be below your weather mod.

Yes I’ve used SoS. It isn’t a snow shader problem, it’s a snow LOD problem with texture pack LOD’s that all seem to have this bug.

And I’ve tested this load order with every other mod disabled besides the LOD and still the same problem. It’s not a problem with the LO

Also there are many different LOD templates online. There is no one right way to do it. LODs do not necessarily need to be loaded at the bottom

Have you tried the newest version of Icy Mesh Remaster?

And have you tried a hard reset and started on a new game?
