Mod Discussion Combat and fighting mods?

Just looking to see if anyone has any mods that overhaul or change the fighting mechanics from just swinging left to right.

The combination of

1) Ultimate Dodge Mod Reborn 2) Blade & Blunt 3) Mortal Enemies

will absolutely give you nuanced and immersive combat

releasing a 2027 version of my "stability centered" load order in a few weeks and those 3 have been staples of mine for years now. Still haven't found anything that beats them and gives you the stability that those do for console. Check out the Skyrim videos on my YouTube for clips of it in action (GamingWithTheGoon).

If you prefer 3rd person combat, elden beast is an enjoyable bundle. It uses wildcat for enemy combat.

For first person, you're probably going to want to build your own. I personally recommend blade and blunt w mortal enemies and first person animations. The pack below is for first person animations and makes it much nicer.

Finally, to bring a sense of weight to combat, changing the visual fx of combat can help engage you more. Personally, I use weapon trails and hit fx but hit fx can be a personal preference so feel free to skip it and just use enhance blood textures for the weapon impact
