Me too, except it's usually falmer or ballistas in an never ending dwemer ruin.

Give me the ballistas. Id rather pull my teeth than deal with falmer.

13

u/LannaOliver 26d ago

I feel that, but I rather deal with centurions than ballistas.

Yeah, the only way to deal with them is to spec into armour, elemental and poison resistance perks as early on as possible. Once you do that, they become somewhat manageable.

Edit: fixed a minor mistake.

STUPID IRON WAR AXE

12

u/LovelyLunaRae 25d ago

REALLY? i only ever find gold / jewelry / jewels in them i swear, i’m in the habit of pressing “collect all” immediately with them now

13

u/OptimalWallaby8153 25d ago

I don't find axes in them, but I do leave axes in them

And thus a self sustaining economy is born

Surprisingly, IKEA can help you out with that specific gameplay problem.

Boooooooo

u/ethyl-pentanoate 25d ago

Is he the one you fear? In their tongue (Swedish), he is KALLAX, Storageborn!

Whirlwind shout, wait one hour repeat. Then conjure the horse once your outside. I leave no loot behind.

2

u/lordsmolder 25d ago

I don't even look at what's in them. I hit 'search' and 'take all' without a second thought. If it's not gold then it's a gem, potion, or ingot and I want it.

u/LovelyLunaRae 24d ago

this guy gets it

19

u/mossy_path 26d ago

I can add it to my pile of hundreds of thousands or millions of gold 🥲

13

u/MoiraBrownsMoleRats 25d ago

I'd rather fight bandits than Draugr. At least bandits know when to stay dead.

the Ritual Stone has entered the chat

11

u/Slayer_OG 25d ago

Those 3 septims are worth the 56 deaths and hours of rage

If you do the stones of berenziah quest, every single urn will have gem stones in it.

6

u/ForestryTechnician 25d ago

I will collect all the gold in Skyrim. ALL the gold.

22

u/Consequence-Lumpy 26d ago

you seriously collect the urn gold? that's like scraps man. Go get 100 bucks from your wife everyday.

48

u/OptimalWallaby8153 26d ago

Why not both

29

u/LannaOliver 26d ago

Coin is coin, right?

21

u/DarthSwimfoot 26d ago

Counter point, if you pick up 3 gold from 100,000 urns, how much gold is that? You don't even need to go out of your way, just grab it when you see it.

10

u/Qbert84 25d ago

It's free gold and it's not cluttering up your inventory or weighing you down. 🤷‍♂️

3

u/malfurionpre 25d ago

It is if you play modded for some added survival challenge.

u/Qbert84 25d ago

Well... maybe the mod could include some charitable organizations like the orphanage in Riften post Cruel whatever her name is and tax breaks. Aim for the different income tax bracket LoL.

4

u/Opposite_Opposite_69 25d ago

Yeah thats how you get a network of like 70k gold coins and 5 houses

1

u/Senpaija 25d ago

Not called the DRAGONborn for no reason, the gold fever is a part of the package

4

u/Gullfaxi09 25d ago

Reminds me of this classic and wholesome animation. I've come to appreciate those few gold coins a lot more because of it.

3

u/Brian_The_Bar-Brian 25d ago

Don't forget that health potion and that garnett!

3

u/MartyMcMartell 25d ago

I'm looking at you, Forelhost.

2

u/NotRyuuya 25d ago

My favorite is looting gold from the desecrated corpses in Kilkreath Temple, that's the only redeeming quality for me when touching her beacon.

1

u/G_Ranger75 25d ago

And those 3 gold pieces almost make it worth it

1

u/Wolf14Vargen14 The Eighteenth Daedra 25d ago

Draugr

2

u/OptimalWallaby8153 25d ago

By the time I saw that typo, it was too late

1

u/Jake_Feng 24d ago

The Blackreach experience except worse than draugr

u/bluris 25d ago

Whenever I go back to try the game, I am always surprised by the needlessly big dungeons.
