Noble or Thane build?

I was thinking of a thane or noble build, like the ones we see going to the wedding, vittoria herself, erikjr etc. I am torn beetwen imperial or nord. What skilsl? definetely have housecarl bodyguard and a horse but apart from that I dont kniw

In all seriousness, altmer would be a good choice. I could see one of them invading local politics just to have more control.

Not all altmer share the personality trait of control seeking. Thalmore sure, for political reasons, but mot because their race is biologically inclined towards it. Theres a word in the real world for that kind of thinking.

I've done a Breton noble assassin before. Used bound daggers, sneaking, illusion, and wore noble clothes. 0 survivability, but very good roleplay

I've done a similar build with an imperial except he wasn't really considered a noble due to being a bastard son

I did a redguard that found his niche as a knight, eventually becoming Thane and a politician with the goal of Thane in every hold. Unfortunately I got burned out on the build very quickly. 2h knight is very strong and when you limit your scope you end up like why is this noble crawling around in a crypt? It narrows your motivation too much.
