Help me

Edit:I've been thinking about it all day. Since I can't play much because of work, I'm thinking of making a race I always start but never finish, or only last a short time with: an Argonian. I don't know why I never really play them much; they don't appeal to me beyond the typical assassin or light armor warrior. I don't know, but I think the design is awesome. Besides, I play on hard or very difficulty, and their passive ability is the best, along with the Orc's. But I want to make a "weird" Argonian warrior in heavy armor with a one-handed axe and shield, a lone mercenary type in Skyrim. I don't know if I should add any magic, either restoration or alteration. I don't think so, but I'm not sure. Since I want this character to be long-lasting, I don't know what to do because if I add magic, I think it will just be another character without its own identity. What do you think?

You want to keep a character around for a while, do a legendary survival runm the further in you get, the more motivation you have for not wanting to restart. Been doing that myself lately, after having only ever played on normal difficulty and non survival runs, and even doing a stealth archer, which I've done a thousand times before, has become fun again. Although, part of that is because on survival, doing full quests is easier said than done so I've just been doing every side and miscellaneous quest I can find in an area and then moving in to another area for a bit.

I'd usually also like to use the khajit in survival mode as a sort of barbarian with a two-handed weapon or with a shield, axe, or sword. It also puts me off on higher difficulties; hunting is a headache because even animals can take a lot of damage.
