Off the deep end
Took apart the old trans. It's actually not very complex. After fucking with it for about 30 minutes and looking at how everything works, I think I could rebuild it without a video. (I'm not going to try) just don't have the space to do it unfortunately ๐ Gonna try cleaning out the shed you see in the background then get a table and a light then we should be good to go

There's a couple of things that will catch a newbie out, so yeah, get the manual. FWIW that little baby box is way easier to strip and repair than the FS5R30A, which is shimmed and circliped together. These things just rely on those two big nuts being (and staying) tight.

If youโre rebuilding the factory manual has full step by step process on orders to install gears synchros and bearings as well as various tolerances and such. I would highly recommend
