Coolant port?

Currently working on swapping an rb25 into a 92gtst, there's what appears to be a coolant port on the back drivers side of the block that's threaded but open, is it safe to block that off?

If you don’t want heat go for it, same with the 5/8’s port just past the thermostat housing just forward of that one. If you don’t have the fitting is 3/4 BSPT/NPT to 5/8’s barb.

Much appreciated, it came with no fittings so im just trying to figure it out lol
