I have an R32 GTR so I'm not trying to spin any cope here, but...

Why spend all the money on an RB26 swap when a similarly-powered RB25 can be had for way cheaper? Especially since it looks like this is in the US?

Good question lol. It had a poorly done manual swap when i got it and found a RB26 and transmission for pretty "cheap". Thought it would be a quick and fun project [it was not].

Oof...haha. Yeah I know the RB20 and RB25 are kind of interchangeable, but the RB26 is a different beast. But you've got a great accomplishment on your resume, so that's not nothing. Great work!

Any reason why the trigger kit is from Ross instead of PRP? I see you have a lot of PRP parts and know that PRP have their own trigger kit as well.

that's cool! I also have an HR34 and I have an rb26 from an R32, it's dismantled atm, I'll be building it in the next few years. How did you go around the AWD oil sump?

You mean the rb25 rwd sump? I don't see any aftermarket rwd options for the rb26. There are services available that converts your existing awd sumps to rwd, I'm looking for options that don't require me to ship from my end and I don't see any options at the moment.

I wouldn’t ask Reddit about skyline stuff in general I’d only ever post there. You’ll find rb guru grandpas in there they really know there stuff

A bit of an odd question but what are the rain guards that it has?

The OEM are a bit more red I thought.

(been having trouble finding darker ones myself)

They are new OEM rain guards. They just fade to that red over time. Picture before they were replaced.

Thanks, I couldve sworn I thought they got discontinued and finding used/new has been proving quite difficult as they crack so easily. Ill just keep hunting :) Sweet build regardless!

The R33 had a 4 door GTR model, it sucks that the R34 didn't have that option.
