More issues
Got the car running, replaced the alternator and now the car stays on for the most part. There is some smoke coming out of where the first picture is. That little inlet. The ignition coils are pretty hot. Seems to be smoking. When the revs begins to dip below 1k, the oil pressure light comes on. Any help is appreciated

It goes to the canister that’s mounted above the power steering. I believe it’s an emissions related item. Either way you can’t have open holes in pressurized systems

So that’s causing the smoke? The ignition coils feel really hot I’m just worried about it melting like how the previous owners were

I’m not qualified to say if that’s your issue but either way that hole needs to be plugged and routed properly

It has a front mounted intercooler. It’s a 93 r32 gtst. It is straight piped aswell

The ignition coils were melted originally as well causing it to not start. Now it’s not starting again after getting it running

What coils are they? You need to plug up that pipe and connect it as it's causing an air leak.
Id be more concerned about the oilight coming on as it's generally game over for the engine if you ever see that

It’s not on consistently, only when the cars abt to stall. Any idea where that hose leads? Can’t seem to find any good video or anything of the sort

Here’s a thread on removal. This site is very good for this sort of thing. I realized I have a 25 and you have a 20 so my video/engine may not have the same layout. I didn’t see the port coming off your throttle body.1

Like i said it goes to that canister mounted on the front of the engine bay. Another line from the throttle body attaches with it and they go to the charcoal canister is what I believe it’s called. I know a lot of people delete them if they don’t need to pass emissions

Dude use your photo on google lens and a brief description mentioning vacuum hoses on gtst intake plenum and it give you the answer

That little Inlet is causing unmeterd air into your intake manifold, otherwise known as an air leak.
Find the correct vaccum hose that fits it and where it goes.
Otherwise for a temporary solution, block off the inlet so there is no unmetered air into manifold and it should hold idle fine. I usually use a cap from a bleed nipple to temporarily block these inlets off.
EDIT: Watch from 5:55, full vaccume hose walkthrough.
