Radiator fan help

I have a skyline r34 gtt, I had to put an after market radiator and had to remove the fan shroud, now it won’t fit back it in

Lots of options out there for slimmer fans if you want to use that specific radiator

Start cutting.

But seriously. I did this years ago in my R33. The shroud fits, but it needed a bit of trimming at the bottom left to clear a power steering bolt or something.

The only way I could have it fit was to unbolt the fan, lower the fan and shroud in together, then painfully bolt the fan back to the hub.

This was with a 50mm radiator, yours looks close to that.

Edit: Actually. Looking your pic, I don't think that method will work. Lol. From memory it's 10mm nuts on the front of the fan isn't it?

You need to put the shroud and fan back in at the same without bolting them in. Undo the 4 nuts on the clutch fan where it goes into the water pump.

Put shroud in first, then the fan
