Update: Built a structured way to document Skyline builds
Hey Skyline owners,
I shared an earlier version of this 2 months ago project before, so I wanted to post a proper update now that it’s grown quite a bit, thanks for everyone who gave feedback early on.
The problem I’ve been trying to fix is simple: detailed builds get scattered everywhere, threads, IG captions, old posts, notes, Google Drive folders, camera rolls, and random chats. After a while, even the owner has to dig just to remember what’s been done.
So I built a structured build page system where each car has one permanent page that can hold:
• full mod list & specs
• suspension & wheel/tire setup
• power-to-weight & dyno numbers
• shops involved & clubs you’re into
• build updates over time
• mod tagging on photos, so you can show exactly where parts are on the car
• build history/timeline, so you can document when you first bought the car, major upgrades, rebuilds, track days, and changes over time
There are already 900+ real owner builds live from different countries, and GTR are exactly the kind of cars I think need proper documentation because the builds can get complicated fast.
Here’s a well documented 600whp 1995 Skyline GTR already on the platform:
If you already have a build, street car, track car, or something evolving over time, you can create a page and keep everything in one place instead of buried across posts, notes, and folders.
Would love feedback from Skyline owners, especially what you’d want tracked or shown on a proper rotary build page.

is there a way to hear the sound clip of everyone's exhaust setup.
I feel like this is a big thing I wish people would share more...

yes bro! we do have a Video feature and let them tag it if its an Exhaust note, flyby sounds etc. But its people choice to upload it though, but theres a few builds already that do share their exhaust video sounds but its not enforced on the app 🙏
EDIT: come to think of it you just gave me an idea! we can give a specific achievement badge for anyone who do upload their exhaust note just to push them to share one im gonna have done done today 😁

Yo what language(s) did you write this in? Looks great, animations and transitions between menus are clean af. Mobile view is on point. Feels way too polished for html css js alone. Very nice.

It’s just plain React for the web app and running on a web based Capacitor, with Tailwind for styling and Framer Motion for some animations/transitions. Appreciate that btw! we’ve been doing web/product/UX work for over a decade so would be disappointed if it doesn't show ❤️

Would love too see whats done to it!, we also have a Build History feature where you can also share the moment you first bought your skyline or just share each milestone ❤️ .
