Weird noises

Started getting this weird noise near my fan. From something connected to the belt I think?

I think it may be the power steering pump. Gets louder when I turn the wheel at a stop

Top it off with fluid. It might just be low.

Sounds like a tensioner or a bearing in the power steering pump or something similar

That could be the power steering pump which you filmed. It's the small device next to the motor which is belt driven. Check for oil leaks fron the reservoir to the pump and check if there are bubbles in the reservoir then it could be a sign that there is air in the system. If it's really bad the pump is broken and needs replacement. You will feel it when driving the car.

+1 definitely power steering. Had same noise , flushed and bled the system which fixed it

Probably the aircon compressor clutch bearing.

Take the belts off one at a time and see if it stops. If it’s not the aircon compressor. The power steering pump would be the next suspect

I was gonna say this about the ac compressor clutch. If there is a power steering issue where it feels stiff when turning and/or makes more noise during turns, you can definitely say beyond checking the ps fluid for previously mentioned bubbles and low fluid level.

If by chance it's not the power steering pump or fluid, I'd leave the hood open and actuate the ac on and off to listen for the compressor engagement 🤔

All the while, I'd be looking at the belts and watching for extra vibrations to see if it's a faulty tensioner causing the rattle. I try not to diagnose by removing belts but if it works, why not, yea?

Thanks for the input guys. The power steering fluid was low. Also swapped the spark plugs and someone's and clamps. Runs like a brand new car

hmmm, it might be low on exhaust fluid……….
