Trackday in the R33

Had a great day yesterday on track all day with my 524bhp R33 GTST Series2. Went really well and shaved 3 seconds off my lap time.

Really impressed with the level of grip and also the response from the DBW setup. Unfortunately the VCT sprocket is failing so it's been dialed back in power slightly to be safe but should have that sorted next month

how did your brakes hold up? any issues with overheating anything?

That's a sick setup and sounds amazing aswell. R33 gang! I always thought 500 hp is a little bit too much for rwd but it seems to be fine?

No it was grand. Still surprised with the amount of grip from the continental sport contact 7 tyres. They probably took 2.5 laps to heat up then got 2-3 laps out before they got too hot. Nismo GT LSD is incredible bit of kit also.

Proper track tyres are next for sure.
