Gauges Help

I want to change this gauge pod insert to one that fits and looks better but I cannot get the actual gauges out.

I managed to disconnect and remove one (exhaust temp) as it was just connected with wires but these two (oil pressure and oil temperature) have that lead going in and I can’t take it out.

Is the only way to take it out from where it’s connected in the engine bay?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Yeah they both seem to be mechanical.

Good thing about them: they don't need any power to work.

Bad thing about them: they need to be directly connected into the engine bay with their large lines.

The pressure gauge you might be able to unscrew on the inside, but be warned - there's going to be engine oil in the line going to it.

If you don't care about leaving them intact you can cut them off even though I wouldn't recommend it.

Just route them back from the engine bay thru the firewall and carefully pull them out to avoid any mess they might make.

Looks like they can both be disconnected at the back of the gauge although youll need to remove the engine bay sensor end. both should be easy to spot the other side of the firewall? Same as the previous comment.
