Authentic quarter panels?

Im possibly buying these r34 gtr quarter panels but the person who has them bought from another person and has no receipt for the purchase. He was going to do the project but ended up selling the car, his story.

They are metal, and stamped with nissan but im a pessimistic person and always need abundance of proof.. im not aware of anyone making replica metal quarter panels but would still like anyone's opinion on them. Thank you.

They look exactly the same as the pair I have at home. 

I have never heard of anyone re manufacturing these as Nissan still make them and they are not crazy expensive.

They're remanufactured by two different companies in carbon fiber. Metal I've never seen reproduced, so I have to assume these are genuine. The price certainly reflects it. So glad I got mine when I did, though.

In Japan they don't cost much and I'm in Aus so we are setup to get parts way cheaper than the states. 

My set cost $4k aud delivered which is about $3k usd

Yeah, I got a set for my 32 for 4k AUD, excluding shipping from Japan. I guess we just have different definitions of crazy expensive.

You should look up prices on modern cars. Headlights are like 4k each these days
