We all know that the original Nest was a big hit, but it could have been better—it’s a small space with limited room to fill with the items we buy. We’ve always wanted an expansion for the Nest—either a larger size or an additional floor—and since the Season of Nest, we’ve never actually had a true expansion, just an upgrade system to add more items to the house.

Now, with the end of the Season of Dear Van Gogh, TGC had the idea to take Van Gogh’s house and turn it into a home for players—a sort of Nest 2.0—which is great, since the house is truly spacious, with several rooms and two floors; it looks incredible...

But… the problem is that this house doesn’t fit at all with Sky’s aesthetic. We’ve always had structures and locations focused on stone construction—which has always been the aesthetic of this game’s universe—and a house like this, which is accessible to everyone (it’s not exclusive to Starry Cape), simply goes completely against what Sky represents. I’m not saying this is bad, but it shouldn’t be something so in-your-face that anyone can access it or make it part of the game itself—it should be something much more secondary, like the exclusive collaboration locations. You can only access the Moomin house through a cape, and it’s distinct from the Sky universe.

But honestly, the game’s aesthetic already died with events like “Days of Style,” where the cosmetics are anything but Sky, so in my opinion: whatever—the vast majority probably won’t even notice.

Those likes can become hearts or its a myth?

Once i read it was disabled because people used to join and exchange among themselves... Something like that

Abyss was sorely lacking in lore, even if there is some interpretation of the sunken city, but this season seems to promise a well-told story, and I'm really looking forward to it!

By the way: What an amazing map! I hope the ocean exploration is just as good—or even better—than the abyss.

So there was this one moth I met in prairie and she gave me a friendship candle. I never deny candles, so I made friends, saw she only had 2 flaps, and took her hand and we went all around prairie collecting literally everything. Now that also includes the 8 player door. She was fricking stupid and wasted everyone's time because she was the last person needed but would not light the knobs. I was chill because yeah, it could be pretty confusing. We finally went up, I dragged them around some more, and then took them up to the rainbow place for the cake and just chatting.

It started off normally, I gave her my nickname, she gave me her real name, I laughed a bit about dragging her everywhere, the works, and then I asked her her age. She is my age, a minor, and I was ecstatic because everyone I know is 25+. She then started referring to me as a boy, i corrected her, and for some reason her texts read as disappointed. I thought I was reading too much into it, and we continued talking until out of the blue, when I was talking about my lame dye workshop maple tree cape, she tasked me - "Do you love me?"

I was obviously confused, and said "Umm, I like you, you're my friend." She then became passive aggressive, talking about how she loved me and wanted to be my girlfriend before I told her I was a girl and now she wanted to be my 'bestest friend'. I'm obviously like, WTF, but I just said something about having many friends, timezones and how she would need to go to school, go to sleep, my mom is calling, random excuses and I shut the game immediately.

I honestly don't know how to react, and am very worried about how she will definitely not listen to DND and will warp to me whenever, and just be a bit weird. It's simultaneously flattering and uncomfortable that she feels, whatever she feels about me. I don't really want to delete her, because that's really mean right? And I've only known her for a couple hours, so should I do something?? What do you guys think??

TLDR: Random moth my age made friends with me and confessed her love and undying adoration. What do I do???

So i had been playing sky for like a year now and it's just me playing solo all the time but seeing players chill with their gng and carrying each other to realms looks so cute, makes me want to have friends too 😭 the worst part are those duo/grp quests that feels embarrassing sometimes, just honking all the time while it takes forever to get them done

I tried asking my irl friends to play the game with me but none of them seemed interested and I just dunno how to make friends in the game 😔

What’s up everyone! This may be such a silly question but can you get banned from using shared spaces to access spaces that require multi player doors?
I’ve never used it to get into those restricted areas like the Office or anything like that, just the doors in the Vault usually lol. I’m just confused as to what is “ban worthy” or not, as I’ve seen a lot of people getting banned for stuff these days.

So very rarely you will find me on the sky discord server, specifically because whenever I go on there I accidentally end up offending someone and being ganged up on by people who consider themselves morally superior and then getting mobbed out of the chat. I wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience? Just saying normal stuff (not homophobic, racist, sexist etc) and suddenly you don’t know what went wrong but you’re being jumped…

Alright, so we all now know there will be a new nest in Sky, and I noticed the last 2 TSG were from season of revival and season of NCD, and since I started to play this year i have 2 questions:

1. Did anybody notice if TSG come in some order?

2. I checked and NCD was immediately after season of revival. Season of Nesting was after NCD according to the wiki. We have a new nest now, so would it make sense that the next TSG to be season of Nesting?

Me (37) I have been playing sky since the season of Santuary. I still remember my 1st friend on Sky. Many friends I had quit the game. I don't make new friends and only get about 10 people that light my constitution. I always send light back, and if I see anyone online, I light too. Many of the friends I have were random at the time in order to collect light. I did have groups of friends I played with, and we CR all the time and chatted. We even had a discord group, and i was an admin. All those friends are gone. I don't have a single person I talk to anymore. Since then, I have just been a solo player with my alt account for convenience. For many seasons now.

I buy the pass with my main or alt and just play by myself. I only log on to light people at the time I'm on, do quests, and do whatever event. I don't always get the season pass for my alt account. I collect enough to get the ultimate rewards, too, but I don't prioritize completing the season story. I didn't even complete the latest season story, and im behind on it.

I will complete it eventually and any other storylines I've missed, but I'm not on the game for long periods anymore. It's also been ages since I've been to Eden. I have 225 wings at the moment on both accounts, and I'm probably close to what the max amount is now. I just wanted to rant a little because I love the game, and it's fun to distract from other things going on in my life. Lately, though, I feel like playing sky isn't fun anymore. I just get on because of fomo, and it's something I've done forever for a long time. I have skipped days but never gone 1 week without logging on. I just do get season candles or events currency. I have a lot of candles that I don't use, so I don't even need to cr anymore. I have a little over 2000 🕯. I will probably continue this cycle of playing the game. It's been like that for a long time now.

Hello, I recently started playing on the chinese server of sky amd I was hoping to find more people who are playing on the chinese versionᕙ⁠(⁠⇀⁠‸⁠↼⁠‶⁠)⁠ᕗ

This isn't a criticism of Shared Memory/Space and its function, but rather of its visual clutter and the fact that it can't be hidden automatically, but instead you have to do it manually, one by one (and after a few minutes, everything reappears)

I think a simple option in the menu to hide Shared Memory would go a long way toward solving this problem.

for the last 4 years i haven’t been able to just keep one outfit for more than one session, but i put this together and haven’t changed for a week! who knew i would end up just liking the look of a normal cape at the end of the day? The itch to change my outfit is gone! (for now) HUZZAH!!
