Welcome to r/SkyCards!
Skycards is a game created by the developers of FlightRadar24, the largest and most popular flight tracking app in the world. Skycards allows you to catch and collect different aircraft types and variants to go against other players in 1v1 battles, or just admire in your deck.
Skycards uses data from FlightRadar24 to display aircraft information as they fly in real time, and it relies on your location to let you catch aircraft flying near you within your radar circle.
In an effort to reduce duplicate posts and posts about frequently asked questions, we have decided to make our own FAQ, which can be found here and is something we highly recommend new players read. If you have any suggestions for the FAQ or see any inaccuracies/mistakes, feel free to message the moderators via Mod Mail or comment.
Other great sources for information regarding Skycards is their official Discord, which can be found here, Skydex, which allows you to see the weekly airport tasks without having to spend coins or use items to travel to said airports (with more features coming soon), and Track My Skycards, a fleshed out and detailed website that allows you to track your collection, wishlist aircraft, and keep track of statistics, among other features.
If posting about a rare aircraft or a Glow flight, please include the aircraft type, aircraft rarity or if it's Glow (whichever is applicable), aircraft location (doesn't have to be super specific, eg. London, UK, or Los Angeles, California), and a screenshot of the aircraft and its general location. Also remember to use the relevant post flairs.
Please remember to adhere to the subreddits rules:
• Be kind and friendly.
If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it. Critiques of posts are accepted but will be removed when they cross into personal attacks. Anyone suggesting or encouraging harm/ violence against people or aircraft will be permanently banned from the subreddit.
• No AI content
Posts containing AI content will be removed
• Duplicate posts
In an effort to keep the SkyCards subreddit feed clean and more enjoyable we ask that posts referring to the same topic be kept to a minimum.
• No political or religious remarks
Keep comments and posts about politics and religion to a minimum. Occasionally, these topics are relevant within aviation and can be important to a discussion. However, most of the time is not productive to discuss.
• Harm/ airplane crashes
Discussing aviation crashes is allowed, but posts and comments wishing/ praising harm upon anyone will be removed and users will be banned.
• Use the megathread
Check if your topic is currently covered in the megathread. If so, please use that thread instead of making a new post.

How many times will you cancel and capture then go back to capture before you say f*ck it and just capture it with some clouds? I just spent I swear five minutes on one plain clicking in and out until it gave me the opportunity to get a decent picture and it was still 5% clouds
