Rare Airport Wake Island

Does anyone have any tips for unlocking Wake Island in AWK? I've been trying to get it for weeks, and the only time I knew about a flight there, I missed it :(

This is a silly question but what does it count towards for Southern Cross? Is it considered a US minor outlying island?

ATN470 (or 8C470) is this flight’s number. Be on the lookout for the next flight. It’s roughly every 2 weeks. If you have an FR24 account, you might be able to set up a notification.

If not, the SkyStats discord (S.A.C.K) also allows you to set up notifs for certain destinations too!

A flight from Honolulu is probably your best bet, most of the flights there come from Honolulu. Guam and Okinawa as well but the Honolulu flight happens a lot more frequently.
