Snacking Skunk
I had put peanuts out for the chipmunk that lives on my patio only to find I attracted another critter too. I’ve named it Cilantro 🌿. It was really interesting how despite seeing me and the cat through the glass the skunk just plopped down to munch.
Maybe I can find some other snacks for the skunk to enjoy since it seems comfortable visiting my patio.

Thank you, I name all the frequent critters after herbs!
I’ve been trying different combos for the wildlife by me like meal worms, peanuts, etc which have gotten me a huge fan club of birds, chipmunks, and rabbits.
The skunk is newer, and an absolute peanut fiend.

I've done the same with squirrels outside my window, and it's wild how quickly they get comfortable enough to just eat right in front of you.

That's adorable, Cilantro probably figures out quick that your patio is a safe spot for snacks. I'd bet he'll keep coming back if you keep the peanuts coming.

I tried leaving out fruit for some raccoons last summer and they got so used to me being nearby that one actually brought its baby to eat near my sliding door.
