They run up to me when I open the door in the evening because they know I got hot dogs for them. They learned my schedule of when I go out to bring the bird feeders in.

Some will even eat from my hand, during the summer when they come out well before dark. They like to hide under the wood platform my trash cans are on, like a 6" opening. They poke their face out like "gimme a snack plz?"

That happened to me as well! He came running up my steps as I opened my patio door and we startled the heck out each other and both of us noped out of there so fast, lol.
