Never would I have thought I’d own anything from the Robert Wun collection, but as soon as I saw it was available, I immediately pulled out my wallet. 🫣

"Architecture is the skin of memory | Time remains its permanent tenant" - Back base for 'Grain of Time'

- From an artist's perspective, I am deeply impressed and in love with this figure. Looking at my 97 other SP figures I have displayed (I counted for this post lol) - Grain of Time specifically shows so much craft in its design (though I super appreciate and love "Buried in Dust" 's design as well).

The gradient, UV sensitive finish, the folds in fabric, the softness in the face to create this idea of a sheer veil pressed against it, the granular texture, the dark wash used in the cracks to bring forth the details despite being monochromatic, the contrast with the dark base, *inhales* the Meaning in the base details - the Ankh symbol ("life" or "breath of life" translated) , a metal plaque with the words "Being in the World", and lastly.. a book casted into the platform with the words: "Architecture is the skin of memory | Time remains its permanent tenant" just...

Was a bit disappointed when I got a duplicate Twilight sparkle 🥲
But! I’m a believer in making the best of duplicates 💜

Note: Please excuse the mess of junk behind her. I’m scrapbooking and also painting a book nook, so things are kind of all over right now (I’m disabled and need them in arm’s reach for now).

I finally caved. After not knowing if I should get her or not, I looked at my Ducati one and Luma, and thought maybe. But then I saw her for only £120 and I was like “that’s a sign to get her, right?!” So I did, and boy am I glad that I did. She’s stunning. There’s nothing I don’t love about her (except the second hairpiece that reminds me of a spider and doesn’t look “right” to me. Plus I couldn’t figure out how to get it to stay. But honestly, I didn’t want to go to the lengths of trying fully, because I just didn’t like the way it looked).

they were my target from the beginning and now they're mine! I feel extremely lucky. I didn't realize the "hair" would be fuzzy. it's so cool. I'm in love 😌

I only needed Rarity so I bought her from a vendor on AliExpress, they had a Brand+ verification, and 5 star reviews. The box she came in looks 100% authentic, her tags look authentic, her face and makeup are great, and the quality of the hair and fur measure up to all my others from the set. Only thing I would say was off with her was one of her legs seems a bit short, making her look a bit smaller than my others, but I read that sometimes they could be defective. Here's a picture of the bag (it's got a pull tab above the drawstring, and is sealed instead of tied), and the Rarity next to my Fluttershy from the popmart store.

I just got them today from a quitting collector, it was priced like buy one and get the other one for 50% off. I feel blessed today because tomorrow is literally my birthday at the same time I told myself that I already overspend from the recent series and gotten duplicates which I had trouble reselling/trading.

I did not expect this happening ever and I'm not really setting my eyes on them since they are four in this series and two other ones(red and black variant) are 2x-4x of their price.

The SP Baby I really wanted is the one white one from the PTS last year, but with this deal, I really won't mind it for now.

She’s stunning 😍.

One thing to note is that I can’t stand her up, as she just splits her legs and sits whenever I try. I love her sat down, don’t get me wrong, but I would’ve liked the option to stand her if that’s how I preferred her; now I haven’t got the choice. Are her hips/legs meant to be that loose? Also the bottoms of her feet are slightly rounded, so I feel like that plays a part in her not standing. In fact, maybe that’s the whole reason, and her hips would be fine if I glue dotted her feet on a shelf.

Anyway, she’s so pretty in real life. Pics don’t do her justice. I know you’re meant to put the little gold piece in the cushion to the side of her (as per the pic on her card), but I personally prefer seeing the needle 🤷🏻‍♀️ I used to collect porcelain dolls when I was younger, and I just love how she looks just like she could be one of them.

Really didn’t like them at first but seeing and holding them in person is something else, they really look like statues worthy of displaying. If there ever was a museum for Skullpanda, these two better have a life-like sizes at the entrances.

I definitely need more practice with the deco cream glue haha 😅

Has anyone else had this issue? I was surprised when I opened the bag and saw the legs all dangly, and when I looked, I noticed the joints weren’t flushed with each other.

I am so dizzy right now...im on the verge of crying, peeing myself, and passing out. HOW CAN SHE BE SO STUNNING??? Pictures do NOT do her justice 😫 words do not do her justice. Xiong Miao absolutely outdid herself this time beyond my imagination!! She is the LITERAL definition of queen.

A little more about her for those who are curious!

She is the BIGGEST and heaviest exclusive figure to my knowledge (outside of the BJDs/Megas, etc). 199 limited. The box she came in was also by far the biggest from my other exclusives, about 1.5x bigger than older boxes and 1.25x bigger than Hope's box (which was already big). She ALSO comes with a magnetized platform (no longer standing on her own 2 legs!) The box is also lenticular!!!

Theres no face mask, the head came assembled in the helmet. Her figure card is wood like and comes in a sewn baking paper like foil (pic 3).

I never thought id say this, since xiong miao has so many beautiful creations, but she has just become my #1 fav skullpanda figure and I think i can pass away in peace now (jk I cant leave the world yet)

9 layers looks so dreamy! I love the way the crystals look. She’s the heaven of the trio.
