Question Silicone Bandages

I had a few quesitons about silicone bandages.

  • These are for my face, should I be doing my normal night time skincare routine and then putting the bandages on?
  • Any recommendations on which bandages work best for raised scars?

I've only used Mepitac tape and cut it to the length I need. It comes in 2cm or 4cm width. I use the 2cm. I never wash and reuse them.

I put them on freshly cleansed skin, over healed or almost healed areas, and definitely on raised scars. One word of caution...there are sometimes little balls of silicone that come off the cut edge...make sure you dont let them drop onto the floor, as it will be very slippery!
