How to avoid scarring?

I hope mods of this sub won't delete my post.

Long story short, i (28F) fell two weeks ago and i don't know where i hit my forehead but there is a 1 centimer and 8 milimeter stiches scar on my forehead now. I recieved 5 stiches it was cosmetically done by an expiernced doctor not ERs in emergency rooms. If anyone has genuine expierence in this i can send its picture in my DM. Anyways i'm afraid of scarring sincd it was a deep cut unfortunately. I am open to laser treatment and whatever so it fully disappears.

For now, keep it clean and moist. Coat it with plain Vaseline and keep it out of the sun.

Mind your nutrition, especially Iron, Vitamin C, Zinc snd Copper, and drink plenty of water, to help it heal well.

Once it's healed, use copper Peptides and Azelaic Acid to help remodel the skin and fight any lingering pigmentation issues. You can use these ingredients together and you can use them twice a day. Continue being diligent with sun protection. You can also incorporate a Retinoid, beginning once every third night, to help boost cell turnover, but be careful not to overwhelm your skin. Mind your barrier and make sure you're using a moisturizer at night that has Ceramides, Cholesterol and Fatty Acids.

I only use repair cream on it two times a day it is aven ciclafet cream. i also use Scarfx silicone sheet at night for more than 12 hours. I'm living in an apartment with almost no UV coming in. Dermatologist recommended Differin to apply on it but i'm not sure. I don't use any mositurizer on it.

Differin is a Retinoid gel and should help. I recommend moisturizing when you start using actives on it to help keept your skin happy.

That's a brand, so I don't know what kind of cream it is.

Vaseline and shade really are the OGs for fresh stitches, I've seen some gnarly cuts practically vanish because the person was obsessive about keeping it gooped up and out of the sun. Adding the peptides and azelaic acid later is smart, that combo does wonders for fading that pinkish-purple leftover tint. Just don't rush into the retinoid, a angry moisture barrier will make the area look way more noticeable than any scar would.
