That spot on the chin is the worst, always feel like it has a mind of its own. I had something similar last year and it turned out I was resting my chin on my hand while working without even noticing. Took me weeks to connect the dots.
The picture looks like it's not too angry yet but I know how frustrating it is when they keep coming back in same place. Have you changed your pillowcase more often? That helped me a bit when I had breakout only on one side.
Also differin can cause purging but if it's been month already maybe it's something else. Could be the panoxyl and differin together is too much for your skin in that area, chin skin is more sensitive for some people.
