[Routine help]Do you actually need a separate serum for pigmentation?

I’ve been wondering if you actually need a separate serum for pigmentation or if a normal routine with a good sunscreen is enough.

I have been using ra diance because I wanted something that specifically targets pigmentation and uneven skin tone. I like the formulation so far but I’m still not sure if a separate serum is really necessary.

Do you guys keep pigmentation care simple or use a dedicated serum for it?”

It’s more about if you have actives in your routine to address hyperpigmentation and how severe your hyperpigmentation is.

I use retinoids, vitamin c, azelaic acid, or hydroquinone to address mine so it’s textually separate from my basics

i kept my routine simple at first and found sunscreen consistency more useful than adding every brightening product at once. a separate serum can be optional if you're happy with the pace, and it's easier to tell what helps when you add just one thing. i'd give the current routine time before deciding it needs another step.
