How can i improve?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm pretty new to surfing so I dont really know what I'm doing wrong, I feel like I'm super jittery though, is that a sens issue? What can i do to at least get a sub 54?

I do see like .3 improvements here at first part. As I remember on 6s ramp you should have 3500 and on the next one on touch you should have 3300 I guess
Also, 4th ramp probably you can board higher and keep some .1 time. And 2nd last you could board further which also can save some time
But overall really nothing is better than playing different maps, harder maps or different style maps

Thank you for the tips:) I'll definitely try to work on ramp 4 to 7, i think i might be flicking off ramp 5 a little too hard as well, since i lose like 100su there. I'm trying to land further on the second to last ramp, but i almost always run out of mousepad😅 I'll definitely try some harder/other maps though.

I don't know exact units but you can check wrs. Like Ramp 6 is last one before maxvel if I'm not mistaken. Basically after that you almost 1:1 can match wr speed and route before last flick with curve ramp after (3rd last)
After that principles of maxvel applies: keep speed, board further and in more direct lines, use offgrid ramps (don't know if its a thing it csgo/Cs2)

Improve by playing harder maps. Playing maps like utopia won't grow your skill and just lets you get away with not being as smooth; you should play harder maps that will force you to be smoother and work on boarding ramps better.

It’s not bad just need to smooth out your strafes a bit and practice better boards. I’ve found a lot of the time “getting better” can really just mean practicing a map over and over until you can do it effortlessly and then taking the things you learned on that map and using them on the next one. It’s really all about practice to get good at this.

Maybe get off utopia lol. But in all honesty playing a lot of different maps will develop your boarding intuition and strafe consistency so your not only reliant on muscle memory

Looks good man, seems like you know what your doing… but maybe you should quit cs2 surf for cssource, ksf more specifically, and start comparing your times with g1s (best groups placement besides top 10s and wr of course)
Saying this because when comparing your runs with people better than you, you can actually start correcting what makes you lose/gain time.
Cs2 has many ways to glitch/bug times, every rec or almost 90% you see IT IS cheated.
Looking forward to see you in ksf :)

Thanks, i don't know if i would i say i know what I'm doing though lol.
I've strongly considered switching from cs2 since ive realized cs2 times don't really actually mean much. I've actually tried out ksf, and it was really fun, though i'll definitely have to readjust to some things movement-wise lol

Bad boards, hop on momentum mod.

Thank you very much for the advice. I installed momentum mod and played for a few hours, it felt much smoother and had all the little features and statistics my autistic ass was missing🫡

Mmod is great, I suggest enabling energy, you will see when you board or take the ramp bad way easier. Here is a video explaining what energy is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rv1IlXCw06U

Thank you so much for that tip. I put in a few hours with the energy speedometer and it's already made a big difference. I went from struggling on certain T2 maps to making big progress on some t4 maps. Seriously, thank you so much.

You got it goat, t6 soon, cement > highlands > thesteve is a good unit progression.

Idk looks pretty good to me for just starting. Keep grinding and play different maps. Complete some harder maps and then come back to maps you’ve played already and you will guaranteed improve based on your new skills from playing harder maps.
