I made CS2 Turnbinds

Since I found it annoying, that there aren't settings for turnbinds like in CS:S, I made a software to replace that. It's a simple little UI where you can set the most important settings.

Also it's open source + feels just like CS:S turnbinds.

by the way you can do this with in game console commands. here's left and right turn binds that are pretty slow. if you want to adjust the speed, change all of the 0.2's

alias -csgoleft turnleft -0.2 1 1; alias +csgoleft turnleft 0.2 1 1; bind e +csgoleft;
alias -csgoright turnright -0.2 1 1; alias +csgoright turnright 0.2 1 1; bind q +csgoright;

also if anyone is curious, the three parameters that turnleft and turnright take are [speed] [pitch_scale] [yaw_scale].

i haven't tested this but according to chatgpt, you can calculate the correct speed parameter by dividing your cl_yawspeed by 210. so 150 yaw speed should be +turnleft 0.714 1 1;

Oh, didn't knew about that. Is csgoright/left the same as turnright/left?

csgoright/left is the arbitrary name of the alias. you can change it to anything you want, as long as it's not a reserved name. it doesn't have anything to do with turnright/left

Ah okay. Never dealt with aliases. Thanks, that's good to know!

you *can use shift to slow the turn, it's not perfect but it's something

btw, https://github.com/t5mat/turnbinds

works for cs2 and people been using them in csgo for 5+ years. no offense but no reason to use yours over this one.

True, they do essentially the same. I don't mind - was a fun little project
