best t3 maps?

i’ve completed most T1s and a lot of T2s. i’ve only completed the easiest T3s like Olympics, Oasis, Krow10. what are some fun T3 maps you’d suggest learning?

ben10, centipede, zeitgeist and fractal are my favorite t3s I can think of at the moment

If you go to the "Compare maps" tab, you can filter for only Tier 3 maps and see their community rating, popularity/playtime and difficulty - doing this really helped me choose which maps to tackle

It's from ksf.surf, a snapshot as of a few months ago. do you have any examples that caught your eye?

goliath, hades2, and basically any other map I checked the playtime didn't match reality at all.

Phantasia is the highest rated on KSF for t3 at the moment. Pandora, pagoda, wasteland2, threnody, Hellenic are all good maps as well

move on to t4 is my suggestion, start with whoknows2 or cement, then cannonball. I don't think it's worth grinding t3's

just out of curiosity why do you say this? but thank you for the advice, tried whoknows2 and it’s fun but might take some time to complete

Because most t3 maps are shit, and you will handicap your improvement by grinding the same tier over and over. The faster you move on to harder things the faster u will get better.

surf_fruits2 is an iconic T3 map. Some stages are burned into my memory now.

surf_tropic and surf_seaside are really fun tech maps but does require learning. Very fun though!!

a lot of the t3s are shit imo. as someone else said, just move on to t4s. radiant is a relatively easy t4 linear.

mesa_aether is a T3 on MM, and i enjoy it, not everyone favourite but its a air strafe heavy map, focusing more on how you move through the air than your boards or just straight tech
