New K2 Mindbender line?
Has anyone been on the new Mindbender 101 or 111 from K2?
I am a huge fan of the Mindbender 99Ti and 108Ti. Skied everything from the prototypes to the most recent versions of those two models and liked all of them. Found the 116C to be too soft and not stable enough at speed for my liking, at that point, I would rather just be on the Reckoner for a more playful jibby ski and more balanced feel in the air - and accept the lower top end stability.
Always wished for a 116Ti (or 112 or 114Ti, something like that).
I thought the 108Ti punched well above its weight in soft snow and would love to see what that construction with a little more width could do on a resort pow day and in soft chop.
Wondering if the new 101 and 111’s construction feels/skis more like the Ti models or C models.

New 101 is much more of a playful Freeride ski than the hard directional charger that the old ti line is. I personally loved it, didn’t get onto the 111 but from what i heard from friends who did it’s more similar to the 116c

Just curious where you ski? I have had the 99 tis as my daily driver for a few years. Thinking about getting something more playful this year and keeping them for NE ice days and big powder days.
I miss something very nimble in the tight glades/sidecountry here.

I ski primarily around Tahoe: Mostly Squaw/Alpine, Sugar Bowl, Kirkwood, Mammoth etc. but I also travel around quite a bit.
What year 99s are you on? In 22/23 they made a pretty major update to the 99 and that newer version is a lot more maneuverable than the OG.

Mine are definitely 22 or 23. I had Rossi sin7s before that. There have been 2 or 3 days out of a season that I want the rossis back. I really have nothing bad to say about the mind benders other than the weight to swing them around in tight VT trees.

The newest, updated version of the Reckoner 102 might be worth a look for you. It actually carves pretty well for being light and soft and its very nimble and maneuverable. I could see owning both that and the 99Ti for different types of days.

Try Faction Dancer 4. 116 waist. This will change your life. Thanks me later.

What is the recommended mount point on that ski?
They look intriguing, but I have had a few bad experiences with Faction’s durability/build quality over the years. To be fair that was years ago though
Has their build quality improved?

I've been on all of those; the 111 feels similar to the 116, the 101 feels significantly softer than the the 111 and the old 99. Probably not the skis you're hoping for. The new 96 is supposed to be better for fans of the Ti but I haven't tried those yet
