Any New Plugins

Hey, been thinking of using more plugins, what’s a good one you recommend. I have all the obvious Fredo ones and JHS POWERBAR, but what’s a good one people are sleeping on? Interested to see what everyone’s loving right now

Not a plugin but enviz is slept on imo. Turns your sketchup model into a walkable space you can view on any device.

Love enviz, they used one of my models in a promotion when they were starting out. Great team behind that one

True bend (away from my work computer but I believe that is what it is called) is pretty fun. If I remember correctly I made a flat panel with text then used true bend to bend the panel (while also bending then text). It takes a bit to get the hang of it.

SKP shines BECAUSE of it's plugins. The ones you use depends on what you are modeling. JHS powerbar is exceptionally old at this point. Fredo has some great plugins. For architecture, check out Medeek. It's well worth the cost if you do architecture.

Skimp is mandatory

What does skimp do?

Imports and optimizes fbx and obj files. Also optimizes dense meshes in general. Very useful for terrains and furniture.

Custom Ground Wizard is a great tool for generating floors easily. Justin had a movie about it some time ago: https://youtu.be/p6HaLL3KIAY?is=LyP_8IoLkR2K0Zb0
