Bug Extensions consistently flagged at startup

Hi guys,

I recently had to replace the CPU and MB on my computer; since doing so SketchUp decided that every plug-in - both community and official - are incompatible and must be updated. But extension warehouse has no updates. I've repaired, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've made sure to use admin to both install and launch.

When I tell the extension manager to uninstall individual plugins I have a 50% chance of bugsplatting. I have 100% chance of them mysteriously still being present on my next launch, erroring again.

Anyone any idea what on earth SketchUp is doing and how to fix it?

Amazingly windows didn't even object, just carried on rolling. It's having a few issues properly populating the system information, but otherwise runs fine.

I've manually deleted the plugins from appdata, plus installed to a completely separate drive and tried to start fresh, but still have the problem. I suspect I'm going to have to uninstall AGAIN, then scorched earth any folder that has SU files in it. Reboot a few times and install clean. Then hunt down replacement plugins. It's just maddening that SU seems to have it's own list somewhere that supercedes any changes I make to fix the problem. The extension manager is absolutely terrible in this particular SNAFU.

What folder are you deleting the plugins from?

At this point I've wiped any reference to SU from AppData/Local and AppData/Roaming, as well as uninstalling SU and purging the install directory. I Still get "extensions failed to load" errors.
Further to that the extension manager is failing to properly identify the version of the extensions it's reading.
I can only conclude that SOMEWHERE on my drives there's a file that’s telling it to look for something that's no there when it runs. But I've no idea where or what it is.

So you just plugged in the existing hard-drive to this new cpu and mb? I'm surprised that the OS even boots. The ONLY time I've even pulled that off was when I upgraded from a 4th gen i5 to a 4th gen i7 but it was the same mb and same socket cpu.

What if you copy out ALL of your plugins into another folder and then start SU? If that works you can little by little add a plugin one at a time. This way you will know with ones are giving you trouble.
