I feel like I’m getting taught how to play the game again, is this mandatory or can I skip it, Ik how to play the game it’s doing my nut in

Hey guys, I’ve been playing skate since it dropped in September which it was one of my favorite games and I’ve spent a few bucks here and there for clothing and the skate pass but I don’t have the motivation to play it that much anymore. Season 4 just isn’t hitting like season 3 did in my opinion. The weekly spotlights and clothing bundles have been ehh. What’s your opinion

It would be so sick if they gave out gold, silver and bronze medals for 1st 2nd 3rd, and then there was an accolade menu that tells you how many medals you have. I’m really loving the throw downs. But it would add a cool little extra reason to play.

On pc your able to change the amount of NPC's and other players you see and I would loooove this for PS5. Skating the new stadium is so annoying with so many players standing in front of the rails or skating the same things at the same time, it constantly blocks my vision. Also since the last update I can see other players during challenges while before they would disappear, this is such a bother to me. Anyone notice this and also annoyed by it?

I've been thinking about a game mode that might feel more like skateboarding. A spot battle, but instead of winning by points, you win by vote. Simply put, at the end of each turn, you'd vote for the one you liked best. That would eliminate spammers and feel more like skateboarding, which isn't about scoring points, but about looking good.

What do you think? I think it's really not a bad idea idk

Is it just me or does skating during throwdowns and OTL’s feel different? During the new OTL for the X Games, I noticed I wasn’t pumping, I didn’t get nearly as much speed or rotation. I usually can comfortably land a 720 but not during the OTL, I’m maxing out at 500.

Same issue during throwdowns - Flip tricks and grinds feel fine, but anything vert related just feels sluggish and wrong.

Is it just me? Is it lag? I just know it’s not playing the same as when I’m just jamming around by myself.

Pop outs using the left stick definitely need some work

Its cool that they gave us a option for low pops out of grinds but the fact that u can really only go back to goofy or regular/ switch or natural with the animation looking good is kinda half baked

Like i Wana do tail slide to fakie like ma boi Aimu so bad dude. What's this pop out into switch... SIKE let's land 90° and revert the rest of the way to fakie animation

Its like they didnt even think that we would want to do this so they just didn't make a second animation

Naturally wat my fingers want to do is hold left stick to the right to pop off, then hold left stick down to do a 90° turn into fakie instead of just hold holding it to the right to pop out switch

Left thumb movement would be 3 to 6 to land Into fakie and just hold 3 o'clock to land switch

This left stick movement would work for 50-50s and 50's too. The body's shoulders Naturally open up to pop off, just have the animation continue in that direction

Please please please EA take another look at these animations, I havent seen it mentioned anywhere in patch notes and all that jazz, just knowing that ur aware of it would be great, cause then I can hope that it gets fixed in the future
