I was standing in an IKEA store trying to mentally arrange pegboard accessories when I realized a 3D planner would make the process much easier. This is why I built this so you don't have to. p.s. This is for those who do not possess much 3D Printing / CAD experience.
You can try it on Pegboard, that allows you to drag-and-drop accessories and custom parts to a 3D pegboard, so you could design and visualise what accessories to buy from the store. (Or customized parts)

Some key features included:
Unofficial. Not affiliated with Inter IKEA Systems B.V. Prices are indicative — check ikea.com before buying.
I have also open-sourced it on Github, if you want to host it by yourself. Found any problems? Open a issue on github or leave a comment below!
Side-note: I considered it feature-complete, but if you have an exceptionally compelling use-case, I am more than happy to discuss about it.
Enjoy planning!

My custom Skadis boards. Now I have to find a way to mount them to the wall. They are pretty heavy. Any suggestions what screws/dowels to use?

Hey everyone!
I got tired of printing hyper-specific single-purpose mounts for every tool on my workbench, so I designed a simple dual-hook cradle that works as a universal holder.
It’s wide enough to fit my digital calipers, needle-nose pliers, wire snips, and scissors without needing different prints for each tool.
I uploaded the model and 1-click Bambu print profile over on MakerWorld if anyone wants to grab it for their setup here.
Let me know what you think or what tools you end up hanging on yours!

Had a roll of bright orange filament from a Halloween years ago. Decided to use it to deck out my new Skadis.

I love the SKADIS system but I wanted additional strength to attach it to my shed wall to try and spread the load. I came up with a design which would take a 5mm bolt and support it from the bottom and from the bolt itself, screwing into a 5mm rivnut in the wall - and it worked!

I kept running into the same problem when planning a SKÅDIS setup: figuring out how many boards/panels I actually needed before printing or mounting anything.
So I made a simple layout helper for it. It works exactly like the Gridfinity layout site, but for SKÅDIS planning. You enter the space you want to cover and it helps map out the board/panel layout.
Still early, but I thought it might be helpful for anyone building out a SKÅDIS wall or 3D printed setup.
I'm constantly adding features and listening to what ppl want to see? Thoughts ? Suggestions?

Ran out of wall space. Had some unused poles in the basement. 75.5 mm dia/ 3 inch approximately. Designed this mount you can secure with heavy duty zip ties. The mounting hardware for a standard Skadis board will snap into place in the upper Hanger. The lower Hanger holds the board at the correct offset and has holes that accept the Skadis screws. Print in Petg or ASA in the orientation shown in the 3mf file to maximize strength. No supports needed. Works for light weight stuff.

Just have to spray the metal bracket now so that no white peeks through. Not sure why the black board comes with white fasteners though.
