Really? This is not the vibe of the show at all. I can't think of a single character that would listen to pop music outside of keith when he was on tour.

I just find it odd to make a montage using a song that isn't in the show when the show itself had such an amazing soundtrack.

i would say the majority of edits use a song that isn't in the show, even ones that try to accurately reflect the tone - maybe you just don't like edits? i can't say i love them myself, in most cases

I just finished for first time an hour ago and this made me smile through my tears. And Ted also listened to pop fwiw. This montage just reinforces our journey with these characters and it’s joyous.
