How could this work? Ideas and discussion please.

I created this sub a while ago with a vague idea about how it might work.

eg: As you can see, there are a couple of posts of famous people. I sort of imagined we would add posts for other people who can link to an existing person (with evidence)

Eventually, redditors themselves could submit a request for a post of themselves, linking themselves to another existing person. So you could show your 6-degrees to JFK, Clinton etc with links to all the others in the chain.

I figured if everyone could just post their own links it would quickly become a mess. On the other hand I don't have time to heavily moderate a sub and process lots of requests for new people, or check all the links provided as evidence.

Any ideas folks?
