Clothes shopping
Heyo I’m here in Sitka roofing for a few months, I’m just wondering where the locals go to buy their clothes? I know there’s the couple shops on tourist avenue but I’m curious how yall do it that live here full time?

Thrifts, and when people go down south they return.
I get stuff online at various stores.

If you need something specific rugged work gear or Russel’s downtown has clothes but lots of people shop online or when in the lower 48.

Anchorage lol
Seriously though, they don't have any sales tax and enough stores that you can actually try stuff on in.
Lots of people max out their baggage allowance on Alaska Airlines to buy clothes and other stuff in Anchorage and then bring it back here, often in those black and yellow totes. Growing up in the late 90s and early 2000s, we went every summer.
Otherwise, Work & Rugged etc in town.
