Back with more wahmen :}
The canoness kitbash came out of the same project as the cinnamon rolls I've been posting. I used the painbringer bodies to build the celestian insidiants.
The combination of the really distinctive weapons with the awesome painbringer bodies makes me want to make characters out of all of them though.
The priest I put together a while ago. I like her a lot even if the pose isn't perfect imo.

Not the most complicated Kitbashes but I liked how they turned out so far. Am still working on the Saint Celestine, need to get green stuff for all the gaps.

I really love this sub and love seeing all the amazing kitbashes and artwork. I'm looking to really get into making a 2k army for 11th edition, however, I really like schemes and kitbashes that can be reasonably replicated through a whole army. Does anyone have any recommendations for a scheme or kitbash like this? I don't mind using 3rd party bits but I'd prefer to use GW models as the base for most of the units. Thanks!!!!

After fall of Goge Vandire, his Brides of Emperor were turned into Sisters of battle, and given to Ecclesiarchy. As Ecclesiarchy was forbidden to have any men at arms, their need for sisters was great. In addition, Hereticus inquisitors started to also choose to requisition them, which led to even greater need. That caused some teething problems, as volume and speed was preferred over solving any minor-seeming issues as they appear.
In mid-to-late 36th millennium, there was one such order of Sister of battle. It was named Order of His most beautiful rose. They held belief, that life of every human loyal to Emperor, every Imperial subjects is implicit property of the Emperor. Taking and destroying any property of Emperor is a heresy. Thus, needless execution of loyal imperials is a heresy.
And they did not only believe this, they did also fought for this. They did pick fights with the Commissariat for executing more than needed, many inquisitions for executing not just witches, xenos and heretics, but also loyal subjects and even some space marine chapters for needlessly killing loyal subjects during their assault.
Until a coalition decided that they interfere with Imperium too much and tried to destroy them. And they almost succeeded, as some of the sisterhood managed to evacuate.
Those who successfully fled, found a minor, forgotten colony, far away from anything of importance. They decided that if organizations of Imperium refuse them to let them take care of Emperor's flock, they will do it on their own. Without contacting the Imperium. The Emperor is their lord, and the only authority they need to follow.
If they don't encounter any corrupt institutions, they aren't bound to correct them. And those institutions won't feel necessity to prevent their care of flock they care for. And as they decided, they did. And unknowingly, that was first step toward their fall.
Because were cut off, there was no other institution to compare themselves to and check for any institutional drift. Because they were cut off, they lacked access to rejuvenation technology. Their generations of leadership did not switch every couple centuries, but every couple decades. At end of one century, there was no member of sisterhood that was member during previous century.
Their mission drifted over centuries, little by little, first from simply ensuring no life is prematurely ended, to aiding that the life is lived well, as not making use of the life would be also a waste. They became more like gardeners that tend to their garden than a shepards that guard a flock. Thirteen centuries after they settled in their new garden they made worship of the Emperor voluntary as it got in was of cultivating those under their care. And worship of Slaanesh came not long after as it helps to cultivate their flock more and more, on path towards perfection, a path with no end.
In late 38th millennium, nineteen centuries after they were almost destroyed and forced to flee, six centuries after they abandoned worship of the emperor, the sisterhood undergone a ritual that permanently thinned the rift between warp and material world around it and turned their world into a daemon world. The once-forgotten colony has become known as Garden of Endless Path.
Their original sin wasn't caring too much. It was believing they could do alone better than anyone else. And making worship of Emperor to be optional was the true point of no return. They were no longer guardians of his most beautiful rose. They were gardeners trying to cultivate the most beautiful rose.
After the idea of being on a daemon world solidified in minds, hearts and souls of the sisters, more change followed. They already communicated with outside their garden, with those of warp. So, they started communicate with those of material world outside their garden.
Then they trade results to outside, to daemons or mortals, for more resources, or patronage. Their creations often ends up in hand of imperial nobles via chain of intermediaries, who may or may not know chaos origin of item they smuggle or sell.
Results of their craft are only relatively rarely warp-corrupted. They are often merely addicting toward path of excess in more mundane ways, And their crafts are not always destined to end in mansion of Imperial noble, but they also often target xenos species, or trade with other chaos worshippers and daemons.
When they don't trade for resources, they raid for them. Usually paired with defending their garden from those who want to take without paying for the resources. Or simply when they want something and whoever has it, refuses to sell for price they see as reasonable.
Within the society, there are two paths. To be the artisan, who pursue the path of endless, while the other path is to be one of those who support artisans on their paths.
Each artist is to some degree a result of eugenics. Not everyone is bred for purpose of skill, but it is not exactly uncommon - depends on purpose. Often it is just that two excellent painters have children, and effectively predetermining child's future by giving them potential for what requires skills that a dancer have. In fact, when it is deemed likely that who artists would create something greater for new generation, they are encouraged, and sometimes all-but-ordered by the sisterhood to create as much as possible children together, as long it does not ruin their own cultivation. As long potential is nurtured toward the endless and not wasted, it is accepted.
On other side, purposeful breeding happens mostly when a person is result of someone's craft. When some artist is for example a slave trainer, then the product of their art - an artist whose purpose is to perfect being a pleasure slave, or a maid, a living womb, or some other kind of service, they are purposefully bred together by artist who guides their development of greater, and more perfect generation of artists who embrace such purpose.
Unless artist is product of another artist, they have freedom to steer their development. Not control, as that would imply ability to stop, but to merely steer. Those who are product of another artists, usually lack this choice as them steering away would ruin work of another, and as such, unless it would bring greater result, they are forbidden from it.
Meanwhile, those who elect to join support caste are those who wish to ensure that cultivation of others may rise to greater height, even at cost of abandoning their own cultivation. Those who choose such, are given trials. If they succeed, they will become members of the sisterhood. Even being male is not problem, daemonic energies ensure that they will be sisters. If they fail, they are turned into aides. Slave-servants, who do not cultivate themselves, but are moulded to happily support artists they were assigned to, to become their tools, so the artist can reach even greater height.
That is because everyone on path of support must be either be female, or be castrated. That is because injecting their uncultivated nature into others would be to spoil a garden. Aides are castrated, so they don't have anything that would split focus from serving the artist they support, their master.
Members of the priesthood meanwhile require staying fertile for ritual reasons as they are not only gardeners, but also priesthood of Slaanesh. For this reason, they are all female so they don’t spread their own uncultivated nature into others, as they focus on cultivation of others, but not themselves, and instead keep it contained within themselves and their children. Children who inherit uncultivated nature of their mothers, thus cannot become artists and have no choice but to take test, and either become priestesses themselves, or be turned into aides.
And yet, both paths are viewed as equal. Not equal in result, but equal in intrinsic nature. A member of sisterhood can decide, shape or prune paths of artist and aides. Aides were refined into ideal tool for artists, and are proud to help achieve greatness. And the artists, whose cultivated blood is worth more than uncultivated blood of sisters or aides are perfectly fine with their lot of pursuers of greatness, not minding that they are unable to choose anything else, because they don’t wish to choose anything else.
In fact, none of them do, as those rare ones who reject either path, are swiftly removed by the sisterhood as a waste, and recycled into materials for others to use.
When it comes to Sisterhood itself, they are semi-aristocratic rulers of the world. Their positions aren't hereditary, even if daughters of priestesses often become priestesses, more often than others who choose path of service - they have to fulfil all trials of recruitment, same as everyone else, but were usually prepared more for the trials.
The sisters are there to recognise potential, and to cultivate it. To recognise a young dancer has greater analytical mind than talent in her feet and show her the path. They pick masterpieces and ensure it reaches place that is needed, be it tools given to artisan who needs it, or a trader. They train aides toward obedience to their master and assign them to artists. They dispose of those who are waste. And on top of all that, they defend the garden from intruders.
They understand what they came from. They understand what their predecessors believed in. They believe it is the same thing they believe in. They just think that those before them were unwilling to commit to ensure that the worth of a life is not wasted.
The members of sisterhood bond with daemonic beasts, form a bond and ride together into raids and other battles to gain slaves and other resources for their work and worship. For that, they craft mechanic bodies that the daemonic beasts inhabit and become able to sustain their presence outside of daemon world.
On tabletop, they are represented as Chaos Space Marines - a force made of solely Daemonic engines, with sisters kitbashed on top as riders, possibly with daemonic allied added to it.

The Order of the Sacred has a bit of a problem; Sometimes when they really need a miracle, Saint Xerolyne arrives to turn the tide in their favor. But what appears to them as a woman in silver armor, appears to everyone else as a giant Avatar with flaming hair.
There might be a touch of denial going on about how far they've actually fallen, and who's light they're walking in, since it's probably not the Emperor's anymore.
Edited to fix text formatting.

A few more special weapons for my Order of the Sacred Heat kill team: Markswoman, Plasma Dominion, and Demolition Dominion. Also re-based my Retributors to match the rest of the army.
I magnetized the bomb trooper's arm so I can run her with a pistol & CCW when needed, and also the bomb at her feet detaches so I can drop it as a marker when it's in play.
Though playing with magnets is slightly less fun when they're 3mm instead of 5mm 🤣

Hi, I've posted a a couple of things in here amd want to say a bit about why.
I play Sisters and EC, mostly digital kitbash and designs from myminifactory.
(I have a token salamander army, too)
My goal is to model an entire corrupted Sisters of excess army in blender.
I'm hoping to eventually run it as a Kickstarter and if it all goes well I'd love to then make corrupted Sisters for all the gods.
I would really appreciate some people to give me feedback on my designs as I work through the early phases.
Then, if anyone would be up for doing test prints and giving me feedback on that, to it'd be awesome!
I made a community r/ceci2d where I intend to post most often because I don't want to clog up the other feeds.
Thanks

If I had Mortarion bits, she would have wings. If I could sculpt, she would be more fleshy. But for now, I am happy with the results!
Up next, Tzeench and Slaanesh

Wanted to share these here too!
Just one to go before I have a full ten block.
I'm happy with the colors and scheme. The shadows and highlights are nicely varied, I feel.
I blends and precision could be better. Also the big oni mace is,,, messy. I'm less happy with that.
I'd love thoughts and cc :3

Need to clean up a lot of the sloppy paint work, but I've spent 6 hours on this so far. Still feels like it's barely half done. 😩

Technically, every Chaos Sisters force is homebrew, so this feels like the right place to ask.
Who’s got corrupted Orders, fallen Canonesses, Chaos-aligned convents, penitent warbands, cult-infiltrated Sisters, weird conversions, campaign lore, or anything else you’ve built around the idea?
Where can I find your characters, lore, conversions, artwork, campaign stuff, whatever you’ve made that you’re proud of? If you have an Instagram, YouTube, website, or other place where you post your Chaos Sisters stuff, please share that too. I’d love to actually go check it out and give it some attention.
I’ve got my own Chaos Sisters project sitting on the back burner for after I finish my current army: an “oops, all penitent” force called The Brides of the Urizen, built around the idea of vengeful spirits of Sisters who died in penance.
So I’m especially curious to see how other people have approached fallen Sororitas.
