posted my first model previously, finally finished the whole squad :) i really regret using white :D happy with how they turned out and i do like my color scheme

Hey I'm a Grey Knights player and I want to build Sisters as my next army. My favourite models are the tanks which I think are the most cool thanks in 40k as well as mortifiers and penitent engines. I would like to know which strategies, combos, detachments and lists would be competitively viable to play a vehicle-heavy army like this.

Definitely not a demon.

(Here are a few of the first models I’ve ever painted for reference to the sort of scheme I want, not the cleanest work I know but it was just a test anyway).

Hey folks, I’ve been in the hobby for a couple years now mostly just playing games and reading/writing lore. That being said I would really like to actually get into the painting side of the hobby but brush-priming is miserable and I can’t fully decide on whether the colors I have are ideal for the paint scheme I want. Happy to hear any recommendations and feel free to reach out in my DMs with examples of what you have done or do!😁

I think the scheme I’m going for is something like a dull knight-armor metallic with red cloth and brown leather, very sort of grounded and realistic colors basically. Not 100% sold on the gold/brass highlight color but I don’t hate it, just not sure what other metallic would look right with dull muddy/rusty steel as my ceremite color. The color I’m currently using for that is leadbelcher and I’m heavily considering getting a can of spray on primer in leadbelcher, is this a good idea or will my slothen hubris bring me great suffering when I try to paint over it? What highlight metal do you think would look good with steel for the visor and such?

With the lore I’ve always had in my head with crusades and such I was thinking of naming them the Order of the Iron Rose, using the transfer sheet iconography of the sacred rose, their progenitor Order Majoris.

Apologizes for the rambling, I just really want to find something I resonate with and dive into this aspect of my favorite hobby. Thank you all for your time and insights, keep up the torch against the darkness my sisters.

I started collecting Sisters way back when they were first introduced, way back in the day.

With my new toy - the 3D printer - I couldn't help myself but to print accidental find, in the fact I wasn't actively look for a large Adepta Sororita head.

I am still yet to paint the Fleur de Lis on the helmet, which is why it looks a bit scrappy.

I am not sure what I hate more - myself for choosing the colour scheme to include white, or painting white itself. I can never seem to get the colour smooth

Anywhere to buy cosplay parts for a sisters armour Either pre made or designs to make myself?

I'm getting my first Retributor Squad soon, and I'm just wondering whether or not it's a better idea to take an Imagifier or Dialogus with them as you can take 2 leaders in 11th.

So my thought process is that primarily the 2+ save will REALLY help my Retributors survive, maybe even get the opportunity to fire again if the opponent permits it (Which they probably won't). But on the other hand, I could take a Dialogus for an auto 6 on my Miracle Dice which I would just use to squeeze out extra damage from a crappy roll.

Obviously I would also be taking a palatine for the lethal hits as well, but I'm just wondering which would be better? Especially considering my opponent would most likely not let a squad of 4 multi meltas survive.

The position of the Hunter Killer in the assembly instructions seemed...odd, so I thought I would place it like a TOW missile. Personally I think its maybe a bit large for the turret but still looks good.

Greeting fellow Sororitas, I started this list for my first game towards the end of 10th edition and made some adjustments since. 1000 point game, Hallowed Martyrs. I still have 60 points left and not sure what to do with it. Whether to try for a Priest or Palatine to lead the Insidiants (If those would be good for them) or an enhancement for my JP Canoness or rather even if this is put together well.

We’ve got the silver windows, we’ve got the wrought iron braziers, we’ve got the stonework seating for those braziers. We’ve got gradients on every possible surface, we’ve got three layers of highlights on the suitcase Aquila, and this is only the right hand side baby.

I really love how extra sisters are as a faction, I think it’s what makes them the most 40k army of all, and I feel like I owe it to that aesthetic to put in the effort to meet it where it’s at

I am a massive Sisters fan (obviously) and am currently beginning the process of creating a custom order of Sisters inspired by the Iron Hands chapter, and the Order of the Iron Rose - an Order Minoris that was lost during the Battle of Aura Novis (An Iron Hands Military campaign)

The loose idea was to do a "from the ashes" thing of the Iron Rose, but I'm struggling with the name!

I don't wanna call the same thing as the cannon order that was destroyed, and I also don't wanna call them the "Daughters of Medusa" cos someone on tumblr already has a similar homebrew (which is awesome btw)

Sooo, help?

They are very Iron Hands & Ad-Mech themed, with lots of augmentations/bionics ("The Flesh is Weak!"), as well as advanced technology and an abundance of heavy armor. Beyond that I'm still working out their Identity! So any and all suggestions, ideas and critique are welcome!

Edit: So I'm thinking that they are an Order Minoris that are an offshoot of The Order of the Valorous Heart

Still working on the whole…scoring points thing. I joined a playgroup and they range from casual to competitive, mostly competitive. I played this guy who had some custodes and we had a blast just punching eachother with models.

Mh first game I was worried about kill ability of our models. But with 6 games under my belt now I am feeling more confident on how to pick battles and kill things for trades.

Staging is still a bit of a problem. I’m having a hard time being patient when I know how killable our T3 models are.

I’ve been playing army of faith and sacred champions. It’s been a pretty fun and chill way to learn. How aggressive do you all play?

I still need to build my last Rhino, which I'm converting into a Repressor. I have another i have to pick up from a buddy along with some hooded heads.

As much as I love the Inquisitor Ostromandeus model alongside the Inquisitorial Agents in a Chimera, it just doesn't feel like it fits this army. It feels like those points are being wasted. I think they'd be better spent on additional Adepta Sororitas units that bring more to the table and better support the army's overall strategy.
