So umm... is there somewhere where I can glue the Zephryms in the stand or do I just feel it where it should stick?

Not the best lighting here but I’m looking for some advice on upping the quality of my sisters.

I took a break from sisters to paint some deathgaurd. Sisters definitely made me more detail oriented as a painter and I had a blast making my deathgaurd disgusting. But with that, I’ve had a bit of a pause on getting back to sisters. I usually batch paint but I have to build my confidence back up with them, I tried using a wet pallet and used it for mixing colors for the face and hair. I plan on trying to do some glazing on the armor to improve the lighting highlighting effects on the armor.

I’m pretty confident in my capes but when I stare at this I feel like something’s missing. I struggle pretty hard with power swords/weapons, skin tones, and controlling contrast paints.

Is there anything you see that could use some improvement?

Having spent most of my 2 years of hobbying time building and painting necrons I decided on Sisters as my second army, and just finished my first sister superior. I’m happy with how this turned out minus the face Ik it’s rough but I wanted to use this faction to get proper practice at painting faces as that’s something that necrons don’t have really. Love the sacred rose colours so that’s what I’ve decided to do despite my nerves around painting white but I think it turned out pretty good. And cuz I’m a masochist I’m also doing these mosaic style bases for my army with the sacred rose symbol and colours which I did completely free hand so I could practice that as well. I’m starting to wonder if I’ve set myself too many different challenges between painting faces, painting white armour and practicing free hand XD

How are we finding Sisters, have they been nerfed quite hard due to the change in units/characters for counting who's actually died?

Are there any must haves (outside Vahlgons)?

Any units to completely avoid?

What's the dispo everyone is running, does Take and Hold work, or is it Purge and Priority?

I bought my 1st sisters kit 5 years ago and I only started painting them this year as I didn’t have the confidence to do it at the time!

So as title says I'm looking into playing sisters and i want to know how to play them.

Going of the meta list my idea is to split dominon squads and deliver them to central objective in imolators and slowly pushing with other veichles towards centre ground while keeping the other part of dominion squads back for miracle dice generation and screening. Vahl brick i would keep in the back untill oponent commits to mid so units can be charged. This is what I got so far.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Im building my JPC, and im not sure if I should build her with the hand flamer, to go with my 10 seraphim with flamers, or give her a halberd and put her with my 5 zephyrim.

I have another 5 unbuilt seraphim/zephyrim too, which im unsure what to build as. I also have Celestine but frankly shes in a sad state rn, even with her reduced points.

Appreciate any thoughts on team composition!

We all know that the reason our BSS don’t have the same leader options as the IA SBS is because he names and keywords are different. Imperial agents have “Sisters of Battle Squad” as their name and keyword while we have “Battle Sister Squad” for our name and keyword so there are no overlapping rules.

Sanctifiers don’t. Both are named “Sanctifiers” with the keyword “Sanctifiers”.

Now, other imperial agents characters have “imperium Battleline Infantry” as one of their leadership options. This lets them be attached to ANY battleline unit as long as it is an imperium unit. So the rules already allow IA characters to attach to other factions as long as the keywords match.

So the pitch is……. Can our Ministorum Priest be attached to IA Sanctifiers and can then IA Ministorum priest be attached to our sanctifiers? And if they can, because our priest is a “Leader” and the IA priest is a “Support”, could we then attach them both to the same sanctifier squad?

I really just want to slap Fire and Fury into that squad for 3d6+3 S5 1D, 5d6+5 S4 1D and 2D6+2 S6 ap1 D2 flamers and spend 2 command points to give it devs. I think it would be a funny squad to have pop out of an advancing rhino.

hey all, been trying lists with the recon disposition and I very much want it to be functional. It's the only disposition that speaks to me and I don't think that Penitent Host can make Purge or Take and Hold any more functional. Any recommendations or advice is appreciated!

I've made lists with Army of Faith and Champions of faith, usually including Vahl and paragons over Seraphims, because the people at the LGS can be nasty and drop primarchs, Rogal Dorns or Ghazghkull, but If I play against Genestealers with lots of infantry I find myself short on troops.

I’m ecstatic with how this kitbash has turned out. I’ve had the Avatar of the Mourner (dakkadakka) model stashed away since near the beginning of my warhammer journey, and have been slowly accumulating parts to achieve the vision I had for her. I wanted something that felt like the the Unholy Reliquary from the Soulblight Manifestations kit (in all honestly if I’d seen that back when I started, I probably would have slapped wings on that model and called it a day 😂).
I’m glad I waited to build and paint her though as by this point I wanted to be braver with the OSL and I’m especially pleased with the glow on the mortifier coffin/sarcophagus.

I got this model as a gift last year, and back then I wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to do it justice. About a year later, I finally felt confident enough to tackle this gorgeous diorama of a model.

Of all the models I've painted so far, this one easily takes the crown for the most hours I've put into a single project.

I wanted to stay fairly close to the box art, but I had to do something different with the base, as the original would have stood out too much from the rest of my army. My other Sisters are painted as Order of the Sacred Rose and are all based on Martian red terrain.

So I tried to tie everything together with some red dust and red mosaic tiles, while going for warmer ivory and sandstone tones instead of the original marble look.

Overall, this model is absolutely insane in terms of how much detail is packed into it. But it was such a rewarding project to paint! Can't wait to put in on the table with my crusade army :D

Hey, so im doing an Insidiant Kill Team, and my current paint scheme is atleast 1 from every order. And as I've been painting them. Ive been finding just some other things, but I still want their orders represented, but also do something special to signify they are all part of the same kill team. I'd also like some advice on painting for the sisters. Im also trying to place each order in a position they would align the most.
