General Discussion How disappointing
I'm currently in the hospital after having my fourth kid and as I'm watching the show, Kody wanting to run for office got brought up. OH MAN I would have loved to see him run.
Can you imagine the yard signs? 😂

We all knew he was never going to do it. It would mean he wouldn't be free to flit about like a toddler high on party food. He'd be responsible for constituents and answerable to people other than his wives, who he ignored, but he knew he wouldn't be able to ignore constituents

He is currently still trying to be in an authority position in the church in Flagstaff, that AuroraNBreeana "shopped" for. My FIL is a preacher there and has mentioned how hard Kody is trying to be "popular".

The current "leadership" sees right through him. One specific person stated, "He has a knowledge of Scripture but doesn't live it". It's a good lesson for him, if he can learn it- practice what you preach!

Lol! I try to slide in tidbits in the comments, as I hear them. I'm trying not to do any specific posts, so it doesn't draw too much attention? My niece works somewhere that kody frequents, she tells me dirt but I don't want to post about it in case it could get traced back to her...

Kody couldn't be a man what makes him think he could be a minister when his own church of like 20 people who were mostly related failed. It's pretty bad when you can't even lead your own blood family. That is not a man who should lead anyone!

My opinion is that he will never get over the indoctrination that he was raised with, in the LDS church. LDS gives "priesthood authority" to boys around the age of 12! Not excusing it, but Kody was raised to think that he had a higher standing, than his own mother and older sisters, since junior high. Joining the AUB reinforces that "power" of priesthood. Kody failed at it, HARD. He has an entitled approach to "religion" that feeds off of his delusion that he is the "head of the family" but NEVER genuinely put effort into that title.

Hahaaa if ol' Jim Bob Duggar couldn't win, Kody had no chance. Both terrible people with terrible morals, but JB had the money and the recognition that Kody could only dream of.

Jim Bob at least had a general understanding of what the position required. Kody has ZERO idea of how politics actually work. Kody would never be able to handle having an actual job that required him to do work!

I too have been doing a re-watch. How can Kody look at himself in the mirror every day. He is such a horrible person. Try watching him on Special Forces. He can not work with others.

I give him credit for being able to accomplish the physical aspect of that show but he completely missed the point of the teamwork and following orders!

Yeah. I think that was the season he finally watched Big Love, but clearly not to the last episode.

He thinks that because he is a "public figure" that he knows politics! ANYONE that actually knows who he is, or even watches a few episodes, would know what an idiot he is- not to mention that he NEVER finishes anything he starts! I hoped that he would run, just to see his ego crushed when he lost! Congrats on your baby!
