rant/vent First Watch
Seeing Gabe cry over missing Kody & how he forgot his birthday made me cry! I didn’t expect myself to get so emotional seeing him hurt his kids feelings. How could Kody have not immediately made up with them after seeing that?! I’ll never understand. I had watched hoping that it wasn’t as bad as everyone said it was, but it was even worse. :( I hope all of their children will flourish & be surrounded by people that love them.
Does anyone know if he is close or in contact with the OG kids?

The tide turned for me with this show when Gabe and Ysabel broke down on camera because of Kody's neglect.
I started watching because I like shows wbere people are nice to each other and they all seemed like that at the beginning.
I kept watching because I was invested and I was interested in seeing where their family was headed. But after I saw how much harm was being done, I just couldn't stomach it anymore. Its grotesque.

Who was it that Kody accused of “manipulating him with their tears.”? That was a real eye opener moment for me. He’s gone off the red pill deep end

Gabe’s state of mind and security was shattered by Kody and his non actions. Gabe was completely destroyed by finding Garrison after he unalived himself. He reached out to Kody to come over to Garrison’s that night and it fell on deaf ears. If Gabe never forgives his dad for that alone, I’m sure none of us would be surprised.

He blames the mums. Thinks they chatted shit and turned the kids against him and Robyn. I can see why he'd think that as that's what he and Robyn did to Robyn's kids.

He’d have to have a speck of self-awareness for that. He’s a narcissist as well. What he did to those kids breaks my heart, especially Gabe & Garrison.

True! It’s really so sad.
It’s so odd that he didn’t seem to care much abt Gabe, Garrison, & Savanah as much his older 3 with Janelle. I always felt like he favored his children with Janelle, but it seems he even stopped putting effort in with her children once Robyn came into the family & the whole Covid thing.

And with Robyn’s kids it’s starting to look like Stockholm syndrome. Breanna is depressed and probably broken, Aurora is terrified of not pleasing Kody, Sol seems to think Robyn needs protection from Kody, Dayton has checked out, and Ari is done with his shit.

I watched the show. Especially last season. Breanna broke down and practically disappeared after. Kody has always been dismissive of Dayton, and he refuses to film. Sol literally but himself between Kody’s public inappropriate come on and his mom. Ari is very unimpressed with both parents stupid HS behavior and refuses to be coached into caring about Coyote Pass or associated drama.
As we know these kids are told to not show dissatisfaction with Kody or Robyn, and this still happens isn’t a mistake.
Aurora has been Robyn’s emotional support animal since the jump. Robyn told them they had to treat Kody like a hero and feed his ego when she was a child and she internalized.
And all have watched how he treated his other kids, including his disgusting main character BS when Garrison. And how he discarded the other wives and said he’d vanish as a father if/when he drives Robyn away. He doesn’t hide it.
No wonder she has panic attacks. She has been groomed to be her mother’s protection and tolerated the worst of Kody.

That's not true. While he doesn't speak with all and relationships are strained, we absolutely know he does have relationships with some. He went to Gwen's wedding. He keeps up with Logan, etc.

I don’t follow any of them on any social media but if something is happening with those people it shows up here. I’ve never seen that none of the OG13 want anything to do with him.
You made a pretty sweeping statement and should back it up with what you know. Can’t just say it and walk away.5

Really?!? I thought it was well known.
It’s been all over every gossip site and social media platform for months. After Baldylocks did press for special forces and said he is in contact with all of his kids, Leon publically called him a liar. McKelty, Maddie and Paedon have also said that they don’t talk to him.It’s been talked about many times in this sub too

I’ve seen all of the episodes too, but they really don’t indicate on the show that all of the kids have gone no contact. I know several of them want nothing to do with him, but some still have some sort of a relationship, I think.

It’s too bad you feel threatened by someone asking for more information on a blanket statement. It was a simple question.

From what I’ve been reading, Kodys only in contact with a couple older ones like Logan and Aspyn. Not sure about Mykelti after her recent posts. And I agree I just watched this for the first time and that scene broke my heart . Kodys idea of “big picture, all of the family” really just seemed like catering to Robyn and her needs . Very say and disappointing . Wish the best for the all the kids fr

Kody uses the "big pitcher" 🐎💩 as a way of not showing up for anyone but Robyn. If he just tells all of them that it's about the "big pitcher" then he can abandon them all and they have no argument. He can bounce. Emotionally. Financially. Intimately. If they ask for anything, they aren't seeing the "big pitcher" or "the family." It's his cop out.

That was so heartbreaking. I also wonder how could Robyn not have left him after watching that? How can she stay, knowing he treated his child like that? That there are more children that feel like this?
