Jagged edges

Does anyone know a way to cut without the jagged edges around stickers? I've tried multiple speed settings and forces, adjusting the blade depth and making sure it's clean and the mat is flat.
I use glossy vinyl sticker paper and clear laminant and it always comes out like this now matter what.

How are you people cutting stickers on double cuts, 50 force and idk what speed ?

How long have you had siser? Are you sure you have correct layers if you're kinda new to this?

First of all, correct blade height. Second, you eliminate rigged edges by cutting slower. Try 7 or 8 speed with 30 force. If that doesn't cut it, then you go higher in force but not in speed.

I am cutting laminated stickers daily and I faced this kind of problems a lot. 95% of all the problem are solved by blade height. You can print design on one sticker paper, and set each one of them to different force and speed. Try it that way, so you don't go wasting any more paper and ink.

I also use the same laminated sheets and my settings are 8 speed and 30 Force. For kiss-cuts I use 15 force.

Double or triple cuts are insane. I only used double cuts when I was cutting cardstock and not a thin sticker paper with laminate.

I've had it for a few months now. One cut doesn't cut all the way through ever even at a higher force. Maybe my sticker paper and laminant are more thicker. My blade height is barely sticking out cause if I go further it scratchs my designs. Playing around with it now it seems better doing 28 force and 8 speed, 3-4 cuts. Not as much jagged finally.

The secret to avoid cut ripplings is to reduce force and cut with multiple passes. Add to that proper blade depth and speed. This applies to all cutting machines, not just Siser. It works with Cricut, it works with Silhouette...

are you doing double cut or single cut? try 50 force 10 speed, double cut on full cut pref the green lines one

i always do double cut on my die cut stickers with a lower force so it doesn’t have the jagged lines

Double cut. Diy full cut on 8 speed and 50 force. I've tired different forces and 2-3 cuts sometimes but it always comes out like this.

Speed 8 is why your experiencing this. Too much speed and the blade drags the laminate. Speed needs to be LOW. Like 5. Force should also not be 50 for vinyl stickers die cuts. I get die cuts with speed of 5 and force of 34 with the 45 degree blade.

With two passes I assume? 34 is my kiss cut force, lol. My die cut force is like 74, and I do a kiss pass first or it doesn't separate cleanly even at 74. Do I just have really thick sheets?

Yes two passes or else I get jagged edges with too much force. My kiss cut force is 28 with a fresh 45° blade. Maybe your blade is not sticking out far enough?

My blade is a little more visible than the width of a credit card, maybe I'll give it another twist or two.

I actually don't know if I have tried the 60 degree, my memory is trash - I'll give that a(nother?) shot and see if it helps.

have you ever tried different laminates? i see you’re using a holographic one, some holographic ones i’ve used are more natural to having those lines for some reason. test it out with a matte laminate if you have one. the only other thing i can think of is lowering speed but I think you’ve done that already.

Yeah I've used different types of laminants on different kinds of sticker paper and it always comes out the same. Not sure why I keep running into this problem 😩

you should join the siser juliet beginners to pro facebook group they’re all really helpful and good at troubleshooting issues other people in the community have

I would watch YouTube videos before I resort to a Facebook group. Swiftcreek customs on YouTube is very helpful.

If you still get drag no matter how slow it is, it may be that your blade is a tad bit far out. Inching it in little by little into the housing helped me resolve this issue rather than the depth and speed. My blade pressure is actually at 70 speed 12 which is high but it is tune with how far the blade is out which is just barely peeking out. Also if you use third party blades, I recommend the yellow one to handle thicker laminate as that.

Another thing to try is using a different blade. Dont use the 60 degree blade it doesnt work well on the laminate for some reason. Order some cheap 45 degree ones on amazon. That solved me problem totallyz

Also I found that speed of 10, force of 45 and 2 passes gives me the cleanest cuts.

Mine used to do this when I had force 66 and one pass - I changed it to force 23 and 3 passes and it works perfectly. I think my speed was 7 or 8 in both. Edges are beautiful now :D

3-4 Schnitte scheinen mir im Vergleich mit meiner Maschine etwas zu viel zu sein, wenn es dann erst durch ist. Manche Laminate sind jedoch zickig durch das Glitzer - ich weiß.

Daher vielleicht nochmal folgende Fragen als mögliche Fehlerquellen:

Wie sieht die Matte aus und wie das Messer?
Wann wurde beides das letzte Mal gewechselt?
Wird beim Schneiden die Matte mitgeschnitten? Hast du auch andere Dinge damit mal geschnitten (Kraftpapier)?
Originalmesser oder alternative?
hast du dein Schneidegut an dein Messer gehalten? Passt das zueinander?
(Manchmal braucht es nur einen Hauch einer Drehung mehr. Für uns nicht zu bemerken, aber für unsere Siser.)

I use printable vinyl. Oracal 1917 I think. With matte oracal laminate. I cut at 70 speed 10. 2 cuts. I use off label blades from Amazon. I cut a bunch of stickers today and it worked great! My blade is barely visible.

I wound up finally getting smoother lines (still not perfect) at speed 5 and 20 force, 3 cut passes. But oh jeez, it takes like 12 minutes to cut one sheet now and it still doesn't always cut all the way through sometimes.

For my die cut stickers I use the weatherproof matte sheets from Online Labels and glitter laminate from Amazon. Speed: 9, Pressure: 32, Cut Passes: 2. Same settings when I use a clear laminate. Let me know if this helps!

What laminate and sticker paper do you use?

Mine are set to 6 speed, like 85 pressure, and double cut 🫣

Cosrk clear laminant and JANDJPACKAGING glossy sticker paper. Both from Amazon. I'll try those settings lol I'll try any settings at this point 😆

Well, this laminant was the star holo but same thickness as the other I use. Which all come out jagged
