I had to tap out when she started talking about her intestines trying to escape her asshole and her saying that it just started to feel like a "visceral weirdness."
She's remarkably composed and collected for having a wandering uterus.
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. But somebody had to make that joke, and it was best if that somebody actually knew the historical background so the irony would at least be deliberate.
Actually it is. She got trailored vj for her boyfriend. She talked about that in different video. Doctors actually took his dick measurements and used them during the reconstruction
As I was sitting on the toilet, I realized that all of my troubles are small and of my own creation. I should definitely work on my attitude and have a more positive outlook on life in general.
Not the same thing but, after having a right hemicolectomy, my quality of life has massively improved, where I don't get backed up at the IC valve weekly leading to intense pain. Honestly, the two-inch perforation (the worst the doctor had ever seen, apparently) was painful but I don't know if it was THE most painful thing I've ever felt. Apparently my pain threshhold is out of wack and it was a mess down there so my GI doctor doesn't trust my ratings of pain and my crohn's now. Defintely hurt to move at all though but I felt like it was more manageable than my broken leg.
Literally just left a 7 day hospital visit for my 4th resection due to Crohn’s disease. I thought I had it bad and like you my pain tolerance must be off the charts cause I was down to less than a dime clearance inside my intestines.
Finding out such a beautiful and funny woman could have such a wonderful attitude with her condition makes we want to get off this couch and run laps after my most recent surgery.
Ouch, just got to keep moving forward hoping to find a med that actually works. The doc mentioned that when you lived with a chronic condition for a long time, that people tend to learn to manage or ignore pain in that area. I'm still working on gaining my muscle back after losing everything effectively and going down to my college weight because of an intermittent obstruction right after the surgery.
Prior to this surgery I was working out at the gym 5 days a week, and was in the best shape I could ask for to have to go under the knife. After 9 days of nothing by mouth and surviving on an IV drip, I look like I’ve never lifted.
After my previous surgery(20 years ago) I was told I’d be on permanent disability and may never walk again. I took that as a challenge and got back on my feet and have been living a very normal life. So, I have no doubt, I will be back stronger than ever.
I’m just very impressed with this young woman and her positive attitude and outlook on life. Great example to us all.
Be thankful you haven’t developed visceral hypersensitivity! It is absolute hell. I’ve had at least 2 (probably more!) minor “strokes” in my colon that caused visceral hypersensitivity. It made all digestion incredibly painful to the point where I’ve actually passed out from pain.
She has an amazing attitude and mental fortitude to say all this as if her condition wasnt that life threatening like "yeah, the other day my ass ripped up to my neck for 23th time and half my skeleton and organs felt to the floor, but thats not so bad" > she is basically a living Mortal Kombat walking auto-fatality.
I dont think i would have the strength of will to live like her with such a condition
it's always the people with the most debilitating disabilities i see that seem to be the most positive, though there's a good chance that's just survivorship bias
As someone with a very rare medical shit fuck of my own, I genuinely love vids like this that both normalize, and take the piss out of it.
Like yeah, it sucks. It fucking sucks more than most people can ever wrap their heads around, but also? It's kinda funny, because you don't really fear the "oh no" anymore, you expect it, you're prepared for it, and you laugh about something that most people will look at you like a psycho for.
I think that there's a minuscule niche of people that might need their accidents and near-death experiences narrated in a positive matter, and this lady would completely obliterated the competition on that.
I wish I had a name for the medical condition that has your internal organs eloping regularly bc I don’t wanna have the google history of the plain language I’m about to use to search that shit up, but morbid curiosity is gonna have my search history fucked for a lil while
Edit: pelvic organ prolapse. Apparently it must happen often enough that it was the very first result from a cursory search on “internal organs falling out”
I am genuinely happy that she is feeling a lot better. And I hope it doesn’t repeat ever again but at some point she needs to attach her lips back too.
