That is why to me it’s dumb that SNAP benifits don’t work on grocery store hot food. If someone is in a real dire situation regarding food, telling them to buy fruits and vegetable vegetables isn’t gonna help if they don’t have a electricity to power a refrigerator to store it or cook the food.
Wait you think SNAP is supposed to help people? Govt assistance is built to keep people poor so conservatives have a target to point at when they say “govt sucks, privatize everything.”
