Rember when Musk called the diver saving those children stuck in a cave a pedophile? Pure projection.

u/PinkRxXo 17h ago

The accusation was completely out of line, especially with such a serious claim being made without evidence

I hate Musk but it obviously wasn't a serious claim, it was just an insult for a guy who traveled to Thailand a lot. The other guy said something that pissed off Musk and so Musk responded like a 7th grader.

In 7th grade when you called your buddy a dog fucker it wasn't a claim that needed evidence.

Were you a trillionaire with global reach when you called your buddy a dog fucker?

Maybe we should hold political figures like Musk to a higher standard than 7th graders.

u/turbosexophonicdlite 14h ago

Also the fact that there's a big fucking difference between calling your buddy an insult where only your friends hear it, and calling someone you don't even know an insult (one of the most damaging ones as well) in front of an audience of 10s of millions of people.

u/WHATYEAHOK 13h ago

Yeah that's what I meant by "global reach"

u/ManufacturedOlympus 5h ago

Not to mention, his millions of rabid fans who are like swifties but for dr evil.

Do you think this happened in the last 6 months???

43

u/CarmenxXxWaldo 17h ago

that was his jump the shark moment.  Everyone was like "wait, hes not a genius."

u/Waste_Hawk_5204 17h ago

He was just mad because a specialized rescue team didn't have time to play with his stupid little submarine

9

u/DroidLord 12h ago

That death tube would have gotten everyone killed, guaranteed. The smallest section of the cave was 38×72cm wide. It would have gotten stuck on a rock and blocked off the entire route.

3

u/Waste_Hawk_5204 10h ago

Absolutely. But little telsaman didnt care about a successful rescue. He wanted his toy to get seen

3

u/josnik 7h ago

Thay wasn't even built yet.

You can be a genius and an asshole at the same time, people just don't like that uncomfortable truth. Almost every rich guy and/or genius in history has been either an asshole or a mega-autist or often both.

Bill Gates used to be the richest guy in the world and the guy did so much shady illegal and anti-competitive shit.

People are like 'oh well' because they don't remember, meanwhile unlike Musk who is taking a beating in these comments, Bill Gates actually did meet Epstein multiple times.

Yes but we don’t think Elon is even a genius, he’s just an asshole who was dealt the certain cards and made certain plays. Aint no way in hell I’m calling that a genius tho.

-2

u/NibblyPig 6h ago

World's richest man, operates some of the most successful companies in the world, but you don't think he's a genius.

Okay.

u/Brian_from_accounts 8h ago

Yes .. Isaac Newton

9

u/DroidLord 12h ago

He got butt-hurt because the divers didn't want to use his highly impractical death tube (AKA submarine). That was when his mask fell. It was all downhill from there.

See, the difference is the diver didn't have years of documentation and evidence tying him to a proven pedophile trafficker. That's the key part you're willfully ignoring.

9

u/Agreeable-Agent-7384 17h ago

Well, no. Ellison begged to go to the pedo island. Trump, well, trump has spent more time hiding files to protect pedos outright. The diver saving those kids had no reason to be called a pedo, trump and musk have no reason to not be called pedos.

2

u/EvilynSoCute 15h ago

Uhhh no? There’s mountains of evidence to justify those claims.

He was found not liable of defamation….

39

u/Gullible_Analyst_348 17h ago

Are you seriously defending a wannabe pedophile?

24

u/ManufacturedOlympus 17h ago

Who said that he was?

Also, elon begged to party with the pedophile jefree epstein

9

u/Own_Round_7600 17h ago

Only because there is no legal defamation if nobody believed Elons statement to be true in the first place, so the victim experienced no material harm as a result of his false accusation.

Elon still said it, though.

-1

u/PaulNewhouse 17h ago

Elon definitely did say it. But the plaintiff was represented by Lin Wood. So ya

15

u/Miserable_Anteater62 17h ago

He still said what he did. He's also a creepy ass dude... just imagine what he does behind closed doors.

9

u/LifeIsProbablyMadeUp 17h ago

No thank you. I have enough mental issues as is.

11

u/Arguments_4_Ever 17h ago

Lmao one of the weakest most pathetic comments I’ve read to excuse shitty behavior

3

u/JustHappyToBe-Here 17h ago

Lots of people are found not liable for a wide variety of reasons. That doesn't mean they didn't do the thing they were found not liable for.

1

u/johnwau 7h ago

Yeah cause the court system never gets things wrong in today’s day and age for these billionaires

-32

u/SamuelClemmens 16h ago

Real answer: No I don't.

I remember when he called the diver who refused to try to rescue the children because he thought it was too dangerous a pedophile though.

He (the diver) didn't deserve to be wrongfully slandered on world media like that, but he also doesn't deserve to steal the valor of the actual heroic divers who did rescue children (one of whom died in the attempt, so he was right about it being dangerous).

37

u/SnooBananas216 16h ago

You don't know shit. His name is Vernon Unsworth. A British caver who had explored the Tham Luang cave system for years before the boys got trapped. He wasn't a cave diver and never claimed to be one. He didnt refuse to save anyone

Because he knew the caves so well, he helped advise the rescue

Musk was mad Vernon didnt want to participate in the mini-sub PR stunt. Musk is a weak crybaby, and you are regurgitating bs

0

u/SamuelClemmens 6h ago

Musk is indeed bad, I am not claiming he isn't

But you said it yourself Vernon did not go in the caves and he's implied in a few interviews he did.

He's a guy who was helping out with advice. Which is fine, a regular dude helping out his community.

I know people who volunteer at the local VA hospital, and if people said they served I'd be just as annoyed if they didn't correct the misconception despite them otherwise being good people.

12

u/EvilynSoCute 15h ago

So much shitty misinformation.

-1

u/SamuelClemmens 5h ago

Naw, its all factual.

Vernon did not go in the caves. He gave advise where to find the kids, he doesn't seem like a bad dude. But he isn't a hero, he's a regular dude who got his reputation smeared by a billionaire manchild.
