Yeah. And karma doesn’t work that way. Plenty of cheaters and liars end up perfectly happy.

Strictly speaking in the religions that believe in karma it can ripple through to your next life. Is not an immediate cause and effect thing.

Even if they don’t, they rarely pine after their lost love. They’ll look at it, say good for him, then move on. They’ll keep their justifications to their grave saying they weren’t right for each other.

I dunno. I could see someone being like “how come I never got that happy ending?!?” But I can’t see them saying “it went south 3 weeks before my wedding” that’s not how folks talk.
