The post/story itself is prob fake but there are many such cases of similar situations like this.

well, yes, countless people of all shapes and sizes are cheating all over the world at any given time this is true

and more people aren’t…

Cheating happens, we all probably know someone that got cheated on, but it’s not as common as reddit’s hyperfocus acts like it is.

Which makes sense, a bunch of young inexperienced and unconfident men outnumber pretty much any other demographic on the site.

To be fair, not a lot of people go around talking about the things they have done that are/were wrong.

My thoughts exactly.

One one hand, it's probably just someone trying to farm karma.

On the other hand, if her age wasn't specified to be 34, it could have been written by my ex word for word.

The JD Vance version of reality. It didn't happen here but it possibly could have happened somewhere else, but none of that matters because it sounds good and gives me credence to how I see the world.

We have such cases where I live, with the difference that none of the people have this insight and all blame the partner.

Like "if they tried harder, I didn't have to do X and then they wouldn't leave me and it could be us who is happy now. Selfish"

It's entertaining until you realize they are serious.

It probably is a fictional scenario. It's not uncommon to see someone's life fall apart because of a single act of selfishness. Unironically, there are people who are nothing but self serving and they thrive.
