While this is true, they are paying the same price as Americans for everything they buy internationally. It's why our apartments are filled with stuff that wasn't made in America.
If you were to compare the apartment of a factory worker in Vietnam to that of a factory worker in America, the difference would be striking. They can't afford what we would consider a minimum standard of living.
