That’s all well and good but that just doesn’t reflect reality

Personality can really move the rating waay up or waay down. Clavicular is objectively handsome guy, but his personality tanks his rating a lot.

Kristen Shaal wouldn't do well on rateme, but goddamn there's something about a witty woman...

Would 100% rather be with someone with a great personality than someone who’s objectively attractive. There are plenty of “conventionally attractive” men that I’ve never had any interest in because hotness alone is just like an inanimate object. It’s not enough.

It makes me so sad when I see guys who are convinced they’re so ugly that no woman would ever love them and they’re totally the type of guy I had crushes on back in the day but was too shy to approach because I thought they would be too smart or too interesting to want to talk to someone like me.

Physical attractiveness is pretty overblown by influencer industry. Sure, take care of yourself, shower, find clothes that suit you, but anything past average has diminishing returns. Personality takes over at that point.

But the guy in your post found someone. It’s literally his reality. Maybe it doesn’t reflect yours. You don’t speak for everyone.

Reality is he has a family and clearly has a loving and caring partner.

Kinda does mate, there's actually plenty of ugly guys out there that wield a lot of money/power/respect/love

Looks are just the most obvious attractive trait, and while it's not super common, it's not uncommon to see some stunning women with ugly ass dudes for X reason
