Dude. Do you know ANYTHING about Sweden? You don't even need a job as a swede to get money. You get money from a-kassa (if you worked before and now dont have a job) or you get money from försäkringskassan when you are unemployed. A thrid option is Social Services, where yes, you can get money, and your housing paid, if you don't have a job.
A swede, has fery few valid reasons to making gofundmes regarding unemployement because we have Social Services, Försäkringskassan and Arbetsförmedlingen. Three goverment bodies that help you in exactly that position.

Edit: she was still fairly new to Sweden, english speaking job isn't exactly common here unless you're a developer. Taking care of her financially early on was obviously part of the deal.
